"Hope is the thing with feathers. That perches in the soul. And sings the tune without the words. And never stops at all."

- Emily Dickinson

"Six people are dead tonight in a gruesome attack, our victims were found in their car off the highway route of 73. We have news reporter Tammy Longe on the scene." The male actor said. Next Tammy pops up into frame with a mic in front of her thin lipped mouth. Scarf around her neck and gloves over her hands to protect her from the cold Minnesota weather.

"Thank you Brad, I'm here on the side of highway 73 as police tape off the scene. Names of the six deceased haven't been released at this time. However, I have Baneville County Sheriff Dorian Rife here with me, Sheriff what do you think caused this?" She spoke into the mic before holding it out for the middle aged man to speak into.

"I can't give you much but it seems to be the cause of an animal attack. We're advising a curfew for the city until we catch whatever type of bear did this." He said gruffly before tipping his hat and excusing himself to return to his crime scene. "There you hav-" Tammy started to speak but was cut off when the television shut off.

Throwing the vase next to him at the 2 nervous looking teenage boys missing them and hitting the wall behind their bodies. "When I created you I said to stay out of the media. Yet here I find you in a house, covered in blood six teens dead. Now two more people dead." the man spoke in a thick accent.

"We're sorry Lafayette! We promise to be more careful next time." One of the boys said wiping dried blood from around his mouth staining his already spotted t-shirt. Red eyes darting from his first in charge to the two goons behind him.

Sitting down between the bodies of older couple Ruth and George Dwight, Lafayette crossed his leg. They were a good couple, George was a minister at the Catholic church up the street and his wife taught the Sunday school there. He made note of the rosary in the mans hand, he was probably praying to his god before these two idiots ripped out his poor heart.

Holding up a large hand accessorized with many gaudy rings. "Oh I know you won't do it again boys, because I'm not going to let you." Motioning to the two people standing behind him with a flick of a few fingers.

"Please Leon, Bernia take care of this. I'd like to go home now." He said, before standing once more and walking to the front door. Stopping before getting out the door and turning to his creations with an almost sad eye before walking out the door. "PLEASE" he heard "NO, you don't have to do this we won't do this again!"

Next he heard the snap of bones and the blood curdling scream of the two boys he tried to raise as his own. Shaking his head he walked to his car, getting inside and shutting the door. After some time his two second in charge walked out of the front door joining him in the backseat sliding in across from him.

Signaling to his driver to move he turned to them, Leon was the first to speak "It's been taken care of. Their bodies have been destroyed and burned to nothing. The place was wiped of fingerprints. It will be a matter of time before the couple are found and this place is running crazy with policeman." He said.

Sighing Lafayette placed his hand over his face, "It pains me to have my own destroyed, but I know you two will never disobey me." He spoke before crossing a leg and lay both hands in his lap showing them a sick teeth revealing smile. "Now let's go, I'm quite parched." He said in a low voice before placing both his hands on the metal skull at the top of his cane and looking out of the window seeing the name "Dwight" on the deceased couples mailbox as they left the gravel drive.
