why — ex: yuri's childlike personality clashes well with ruki's quiet, mature, and sophisticated persona. due to the fact that he is more of the kind of person to confine in his emotions with a strict facade, he would do well in keeping yuri's ideals realistic to some degree. however, when her emotions become too much for her to handle on her own, ruki would have no problem offering her comfort or support. 

books and reading are such a bonding experience between the two that brings them somewhat closer, actually. especially in terms of classic fiction. the two could both benefit over cooking skills as well, learning new techniques from one another. ruki would take no time fixing her malnutrition with his meals. 

furthermore, despite her asexual nature, a string of affection would be sought after by both parties, and after a much developed relationship, lines would be crossed and a sexual relationship would emerge.

yuri's crybaby emotional behavior would be slightly annoying. ruki would most likely bite her to get her to be quiet, and would probably leave her crying to learn her lesson

if something came up that angered ruki, he would most likely resort to subtly destroying yuri's origami or anything of value while she was not around
