I think I might've dozed off for a little while because I was suddenly shaken into reality when the car jerked over a speed bump. Or a pothole?"You, uhh.. good back there?" The driver asked me with a garble to his tone, though only before I could nod my head, we violently hit another pothole.
"What's up with all dents in the road? I don't have 'em when I drive home."
"Ehh.. oh, we're taking a new route." He slurred.
"What, why?! And what the hell's that stench?" I scowled a little while sniffing, leaning forward in between the passenger and driver's seat.
"It's this!" I gasped and went to grab his water bottle hastily, rolling the cap open and took a whiff. "Is that.. this isn't water!!"
"Hey! Give that back!" He reached out his arm to try to snatch the bottle of alcohol away but I held it away from him. This only worsened the situation because he suddenly bent around.
"The car! Turn back around!" He shook his head and halfway got up to pry his drink from me, keeping only one hand on the steering wheel which didn't help the case since the car started swerving viciously on the empty, foggy street.
"Have it, just turn the heck around!" I shoved the bottle into his hand. The driver grinned as he took it from me, our bodies abruptly jerking forward. Thankfully our seatbelts went on safetly lock to hold us in place from flying out the window-
Wait, what even happened?
I had shut my eyes in shock with a yell, gasping for air slowly as I peeked my eyes open. I caught sight of the driver who seemed just as stunned and frozen - but the huge electric pole rammed against the front of the car didn't go unnoticed.
We both hastily exited the now destroyed taxi as we took in the scene with utter shock and fear.
"Look at what you did, you dumb bitch!"
"I.. No, you were drinking and driving, sir! It's your fault, I merely tried to stop you!" I scoffed with crossed arms, totally because it wasn't my fault he collided into a pole.
"Being smart, are we~? You're gonna pay for it." He grinned as he stumbled his way towards me, his nasty alcoholic breath already hurting my poor sense of smell from so far away. "Hand me the money."
Click. One~
"What money?! You're drunk, old man. Leave me alone! I don't even know where I am!" I hissed as I shoved him back at the sudden close proximity.
I clearly didn't know where we were because of his 'new route.' It was all foggy around us with tall buildings wrapped around smog, giving this place a haunted feel. It was chilly, though.
"The hell're you calling old man? Give me my damn money or I'll take it by force!" His tried to throw himself my direction but I stepped aside in time.
Aim. Two~
I tried to swing my purse at him, how cliche [name].
I had gotten enough distance to whip my phone out. "Stay back or I'll call the cops.""I'll slice you and your wallet open before they arrive. And I'm outta here." He smirked as his hand shuffled around his pockets for something, before pulling out a shiny metallic object.
He immediately bolted towards me with a switchblade, a maniacal laugh coming from him.
I tried to dodge his poor attempts to swing at me since he was still drunk.Temari! She's on speed dial!
"I have you now!!" He yelled as he backed me up towards his broken car, whirling the blade his dirty fingers.
And shoot! Three.
I dialed my girl and squeezed my eyes shut as the large man lunges forward to throw himself on me.
