Prologue

Ah, geez... got surrounded today again huh?

For almost everyday I get ambushed by some guys on my way to school. For pursuing you say? No it's to get their revenge on me.

"Yo~ Kuroyama Ayumi-chan~", one guy said and smiled creepily.

"Don't call my name with that voice... it's disgusting."

"What did you say?! You bi-!", he raised his right hand.

"Not man enough to go against one on one on me? So coward of you to bring two more guys with you.", I smirked.

"You're seriously-", he started to swing his hand.

"HEY!!!", someone suddenly shouted from nowhere. "What are you guys doing?", depending on his uniform he is a high schooler. He looks pretty weak though. Glasses guy.

"What do you want? Trying to act like a hero?", the guy who wanted to attack me looked at his friends and started laughing at the guy with the glasses.

The glasses guy didn't answer and just glared at them. Is he scared? Oh I guess I'll just give him a hand.

"Uhm-", I wanted to interrupt but the hot blooded guy started to swing his hand and says: "What's wrong with that look?!". Ah geez am I too late?

But then I was wrong. The guy with the glasses easily avoided the hit, blocked it and hit him on the back on his knee. "No way.", or so I thought. He looked really fragile and weak. Never expected that. The guy fell on the ground and his friends quickly backed him up. "Ah geez! Stop it now!!!", I've had enough and I'm late again for school. I kicked one guy on the back on his knee plus a kick on his butt and the other a turning kick on his head but I've failed to kick that high so I could just kick his back. As they wilted on the floor, I could completely see the guy with the glasses. His face was painted with awe, stretched eyes and open mouth.

"The fly is going inside.", I smirked and pointed on his mouth.

"Ah.", he then came back to his senses.

"You!!!- ugh.", the thugs tried to stand up.

"Oh gee.", suddenly the high school guy grabbed my hand and started to run and pulled me around.

His hands were so big and bony. I thought he was weak but he grabs my hand very tightly. Jet black hair and jaws that are very sharp. On the second thought, I think he is actually very manly with an innocent face.

He suddenly stopped. "I guess *huff* we're already pretty far away.", he looked back and looked at me.

"Um...", he didn't notice that he still holds my hand. I blushed while gasping for air.

"S-sorry!", he panicked and quickly let go of my hand. He turned around, even redder than before after he ran. Cute. I chuckled.

He pats his cheeks and faced me again.

"Wait... you're a middle schooler?!", what the hell he only noticed now??? I nodded as a sign of yes. "Who were they? Where they bullying you? Blackmail?". He seemed pretty sincere.

"It's a long story.", I said. Well it really is and I have no intention on talking about it. Too troublesome.

He said nothing and looked at me. Geez, if he stares that much it'll make me blush. As I thought of it I can already feel the blood gushing to my cheeks.

"You were so cool back then.", he smiled and pats my head. I thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest and I feel like I'm being pricked by a needle.

"Y-you were pretty ok back then too...", I murmured and also pat his head even though he was a head taller. I just stand on my tiptoe and tried to reach his head.

His eyes got bigger and didn't say anything for a second. But then, "Puahahaha!", he suddenly burst in laughter. "Wh-what?", I glared at him with a tomato face of course. "Hahaha. Nothing, I thought you pretty cute and tiny, pft-", he tried to suppress his laughter. What the no fair. I can feel my blood rushing all over my body. "Your smile is cute too." "Eh?, what? I didn't hear." Crap. Did I just say that out loud?! Damnit brain what are you doing?!

"I said aren't you going to be late?", yeah pretty nice excuse.

He then quickly glanced on his watch. "Damn, I'm seriously late!!! Well then kid, don't start any fight with guys ok? Even though you're strong, you're still a girl! Well then, see you around! And go to your school now it's just around the corner right?", he quickly took off and ran with all his might.

"He left.", it felt like something was taken inside me... it feels so empty... I couldn't even say thank you nor asked his name...

He said 'see you around'. But 6 months have passed and I never seen him nor his shadow anywhere. And starting tomorrow I'll be a high school student...
