It was winter when Ayumi turned 12. December 24th. The road was covered with ice and the sky was filled with glimmering snow.

Ayumi and her father were having a conversation.

"So Ayumi where would you want to eat?", her father asked her.

"Running sushi would be nice~"

"Then why won't we go?"

"Really?!", her eyes were full of excitement and joy. "Yay~".

"You really are still a kid huh? I hope time would stop.", her father kindly smiled.

"Dad~!", she kinds of disagree. "Oh here.", she takes out her present for her dad. "Merry christmas♥", she smiled brightly.

"Eh you've got something for me?", her dad seems to be happy. "Sorry, but I'm driving can you open it up for me?"

"Sure.", she opened her gift to her father. It was a wool scarf. She took it out and wrapped it on her dad.

"Woah, a scarf? How nice of my daughter ♥", her dad seemed to really liked her present.

As they were driving at the intersection, a car came rushing. *beeeeeeeep*, the car honked. The car was too fast and the road was too slippery. Neither could avoid. The father knew that. He grabbed her daughter, Ayumi and hugged her, wanting to protect her til the very end. *wham*

*weewooweewoo*, the ambulance siren cries. The people on the car accident were brought to the ER.

-in the hospital-

Ayumi opened her eyes. Her body was full of scratches and injury, but it was miraculously not as worse as it should've been, from the turned uoside down car.

"Ou-", as she tried to get up, pain strikes on her head.

"You better not move around so much.", said the nurse who was in charge of her.

"Dad... where's my father?", Ayumi asked with a teary worried eyes.

"Don't worry... he's in the next room.", the nurse smiled but Ayumi had this uncertain feeling.

"I'm gonna check.", she said determinedly.

"You can't move!", said the nurse worriedly.

"No! I have to see him! I have to see him now.", she ripped the needleaway from her arm and it bled but it didn't concerned her. All she wants to do is see her dad.

"Dad. Dad.",she continued to call his name.

She ran to the next door and opened the door aggressively, but no one was there.

"No, he must be on the other side.", her nostrils got bigger and her voice git weaker. Without resting, she ran off to the next door. "Dad!", but no one was also there.

"Where..  where is he?", finally her tears fell down.

"I'm sorry.", the nurse felt guilty and admitted that her father is gone.

Her knees felt like marshmallow and couldn't support her weight. She collapsed on the floor crying. Crying his dad's name out loud.

"Why? Why did he have to leave? I couldn't even say I love him one last time. Why? Why did they all have to leave me? Why?!", Ayumi bawled on the hospital's hallway.

"Dad... please tell me you're lying!", she held on the nurse's skirt. "Please tell me he's alive. We were together just a moment ago. There's no way he's gone. No way! You probably just got it all wrong! Tell me it's a dream tell me it isn't true! We were on the way to celebrate my birthday... there's no way... just no way! I couldn't even see him for the last time...", she cried herself to the max until she passed out, from crying and from exhaustion.

They were found hugging each other when the ambulance came.

But i cried tons while I was writing it...
