"Hey Marty from the Party!" I yelled as I ran towards Marty.

"Yo!" he replied as he turned to face me.

"You talk like that now?" I asked him with an amused expression on my face. I am surprised that he has changed so much.

"I talk the same way I've always talked," he responded with a slightly defensive tone to his voice.

Sure... I thought. I decided to just let it go and asked him, "So what are you doing this weekend?"

"I'm gonna be running a marathon over at the park," Marty replied excitedly.

I smiled as an idea began to form inside my brain. I was going to run this marathon and I was going to win...or at least I was going to beat Marty.

"Oh no. You aren't thinking of running the marathon too are you?" Marty asked me worriedly.

I grinned at him as his smile began to slowly turn upside down into a frown.

"Buffy you can't run a marathon without proper training. You can get seriously hurt." he told me, full of concern and worry.

"Oh so you're afraid I'll beat you." I replied with a sassy/flirty tone.

"Please don't do it Buffy. You'll regret this." Marty said with a concerned expression on his face.

"See you at the finish line." I responded and with a smirk I turned around and walked away. Then I grabbed my phone to text the GHC that I was running a marathon and that they should come cheer me on.

Buffy<3: Hey fam. I'm gonna run a marathon at the Park Saturday. You guys should come.

Andi<3: Count me in:)))

Thank you Buffy I thought as I texted her back that I'd be there. She saved me from having to awkwardly reject my ex-girlfriend.

"Sorry I can't go. I'm going to Buffy's marathon Saturday." I told Iris.

Her face fell and she looked really upset. To comfort her I say, "You can come too if you want."

CYRUS! Why did I say that! I really hope she will decline.

"I'd love to go!" Iris responded grinning from ear to ear.

Then I got a idea. "TJ do you want to come too?" I asked him while secretly hoping that he would say yes.

"Sure" TJ responded, giving me a friendly smile.

I smiled back, feeling way better about this situation now that TJ was going to be there.

At the Spoon

"Hold up. So you're saying that your parents are NOT getting married after all this wedding planning that you and Cece did?" Buffy asked full of shock.

"I guess so. It doesn't really surprise me. I guess I always knew that they wouldn't get married. It was all too good to be true." I replied sadly as I dipped my baby tater in my milkshake.

"This sucks." Cyrus said with a really upset look on his face.

"I just have this huge ball of anger and I don't know where to put it." I said while munching on my food.

"I've got an idea! We should order more baby taters and milkshakes! That way Buffy and I can stress eat (they have a huge history exam soon) and you can sad eat." Cyrus said excitedly.

"Thanks but no thanks. I think that I need more comfort than just food." I replied while secretly wanting to give in and order more baby taters and milkshakes.

"Besides, we all know that you're just saying that as an excuse to get more baby taters and milkshakes." Buffy said with a knowing smirk on her face.

"Am not!" Cyrus responded, defending himself and his pride.

Buffy faces Cyrus and gives him a knowing look.

"Ok fineeee." Cyrus admitted reluctantly.

Suddenly Amber appeared out of thin air and sat at our booth. "I've got the perfect solution to your problem, Andi." she said with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

Then she grabbed my arm and pulled me away with her. We then began to walk out of the Spoon and towards an unknown destination.

"Where are we going?" I asked her, feeling a bit scared.

"Don't worry Bambi. I'll protect you." Amber replied, giving me a reassuring smile.
