"I've been...around." Tom said with discomfort, looking away from me and the rest. "What do you mean 'around'?" I'm confused really, but more so angry, I want to know where he'd been  and who sent him away. I could yell at him until my lungs gave way and my throat caved in, but it would be of no use.

"Just around Y/N, okay? No need to get so worked up over it." His tone.. it was harsh. You could tell he was going to start crying by how his tone sounded. Broken and crumbling like ruins in Paititi. (Pie T T, is how it's pronounced) "Alright fine, be that way then!" I turned around, walked into my room, and slammed the door shut. Hard.

I could hear them talking about my anger fit, and where he had been. All right outside my door. That didn't matter when Tord walked into the house. You could tell he instantly heard the commotion. His footsteps could be heard coming down the corridor, for what seemed a long time; Stopped. Then silence. A gasp could be heard through the door, it wasn't Matt's or Edd's gasp. It was Tom's.

Something about his gasp sent unnerving shivers down my spine. Was...no, couldn't've been. But what if.. what if Tord was the one who had sent Tom away with a threat? A threat that would MAKE Tom want to leave even though he'd've known it wasn't the right thing to do?

Then, an angry wolf like growl was what I had heard through my door. Tord; god knew he'd be unhappy to know Tom was back in town; and in our house non the less. He huffed a giant like huff, ready to say something, but I got up and ran to the door as fast as my feet would let me. I flung open the door and stared him down.

"Tord, do. NOT." I was stern, like a bull head on with a red cloth. "Don't even THINK about yelling at Tom!" My voice picked up, louder than normal. When I got like this it was hard to calm me down. "I love you, Tord, but do NOT take your anger out on him. Do you understand me?!"

Tord looked at me, anger and lust in his eyes. Not the good kind of lust either. His evil lust, the one that makes him do terrible things. "UGH, FINE!!" he snarled back. I gave him a softer look, but he turned away and headed to his room. Wonderful, I made him mad at the cost of another person's feelings. But it had to be done. Tom had just gotten back from who knows where, and I was not about to let him walk back out that door because i had taken my lovers side.

That would seem like favoritism, and I'm above that.

Who to comfort first?

The loner who came out from nowhere, or the grumpy storm cloud who can't seem to chill when Tom is around?

Sorry for the short chapter, I'm sick and am dealing with Senior, High School activities at the moment. Hooray for almost graduation!!

And i might start holding and italicizing my words more, idk.

Who will you talk to first? Comment in the comment section, and the popular vote will be the person you talk to first. This is me signing off for the night. See ya all in the next chapter :)
