Old world, New eyes

In the beginning stages of Britannia, few years before the war between all the clans ravaged the land. It was peaceful, forests and grasslands covered more of the world, large bodies of water surrounded them.

A time of peace, as well as an unknown world to me. It has only been a few short days since I was ripped from what I thought was my home. What even is a home?

Almost 50 had passed in this world, but nothing seems to change. I was lucky to survive the time I spent in that world, I've gained new powers, risen to new strengths. Maybe that's why he let me out.

I had forgotten everyone I once knew, and it seems they've forgotten me as well.

-hours after she was removed from purgatory-

"My son, it is time I tell you of an old forgotten secret. Zeldris may not have been your only true sibling. Years ago I have entrapped your younger sister, and now she has been freed."

"What's the meaning of this father! I have no sister, how is this possible after all this time?"

I couldn't concentrate on the entire conversation. The blonde didn't seem too please with me, nor did the dark haired one. Of course none of that matters now, they are merely stepping stones for me now.

Letting out a heavy sigh as I looked onto the horizon. The sun was high in the sky, keeping the earth below warm. The grass and trees swayed in the breeze as it passes, and the water shines from the reflection in the distance.

If I'm honest I'm a bit of a introvert, unlike the others I don't care to train all day. I couldn't pass up a view like this.

Standing on the ledge and creating the dark black wings before jumping from the edge. Flying over the trees of the thick forest. I look down into a clearing with a waterfall, right against a cliff side.

Floating down into the empty area, a large deep pool covered an area below the water for it to spill into. A perfect place for a bath in peace, especially without maids left and right to bother you.

Smiling at the thought, I took one last look around to see if it was clear. Once I knew it was I began to remove the clothing given to me by the demons at the castle.

Carefully I step into the water, not wanting to slip if moss or algae. The pool was rather deep, I couldn't touch the bottom, but it was perfect. Letting out a sigh I relax into the water, letting it hold me. Nothing could be better. No maids, no demon king, no annoying 'brothers'.

Sighing, mom always did speak of my brothers, she never said who they were and I can't recall names. Maybe they are them. Honestly I can only recall one name, but mother never spoke this name. Somehow it's the only one I remember hearing.

Moving to a rock under the waterfall, rinsing anything I've caught in my hair. I haven't thought about mom in so long, or that name, yet it's still there. Sighing and sitting there before some movement caught the corner of my eye. It had to have been some animal, Sighing a bit, I turn my head to look at it.

Instead of a small animal, a man, a man with long silver hair stood at the edge of the water. We starred for a moment, before my eyes widened and I cover my body.

"What the hell man! Don't snoop up on a girl like that!!"

I yelled, but he didn't seemed fazed, he starred. That's when I saw them, the four wings stretching from his back, and the sword in hand. My eyes narrowed at him, he was ready, any movement now and he'll lunge to me. Now is the waiting game, the first to move is dead, I doubt he wants to take any chances.

A few long seconds passed, then his ankle shifted and he jumped. In the flash of a split second he was at the waterfall and the sword shoved deep into the rock. Shock covered his face as he realized I dodged him. We came face to face, he was above me since my only opinion was to slip under his blade.

He glared down at me for a few seconds, then his face went soft, confused almost. I stayed strong, not showing any weakness, but I wasn't ready for him to speak. Especially when what he said was:

"Kora..is that you?"

My eyes widened, my breathing picked up, I was panicking. Quickly I composed myself while he was still confused. Quickly and shove my legs between us and kick him back into the water before jumping off the rock. Landing on the sand at the edge of the pool, I grab my clothes. I could hear him surface the water gasping for air. I didn't look back, I grab my things and ran.

Who was that guy? How does he know who I am?
