Chapter 17

After getting of the phone with Hayes by my side, I stand up and offer him a hand. We both get up and I take him into Cameron's room to get his penny board. "Why are we in Cam's room?" He laughs. "Were leaving," I laugh and hand him Nash's penny board and grab Cam's. "Where are we going?" He asks, "Jesus boy you ask a lot of questions." I laugh. He smiles at me and we walk down to the lobby. "I'm hungry so were do you wanna go?" I ask him. "Uh...," He thinks, "In-N-Out?" He looks at me. "YAS BECKY!" I shout. Everyone in the lobby looks at us. "Sorry... He's immature." I say and push him outside. "Why'd you blame it on me?" He laughs. I shrug and we both penny board to In-N-Out Burger.

"I beat you!" I laugh while doing a wierd dance. "Stop it Sky! Your embarrassing me!" He covers his face. "Aww my little Hayesyboo is embarrassed" I squish his cheeks. We both laugh and go inside. We order and sit down with our food. After we're done he asks, "Should we get good for the guys?" "Hell no! They can get their own food!" I answer and he laughs. "Okay then, let's gooooooo." He says and runs out the door with Nash's penny board in his hand. I laugh and follow after him.

We get to the hotel and walk up to Cameron's room to put Cam's and Nash's penny board away. I then got a text from Brooke.

Brookee💥: Downstairs at the pool. Come down when you get back.

"Hayes their at the pool." I tell him. "I don't feel like swimming." He shrugs. "Me either." I say and we both walk down to the pool.

Once we get down their we hear yelling. "SHUT UP MATT! ITS YOUR FAULT!" It sounds like Brooke said that. "Hayes don't go in there." I pull Hayes's arm back. "NO ITS NOT! ITS YOURS!" Matt shouts back. "WE AREN'T EVEN TOGETHER! WHATS YOUR PROBLEM?!" She yells, "MY PROBLEM IS YOU!" He screams. "Then maybe I'll just leave." She says, her voice cracking. "Good. I never wanted you here anyway." He answers. Soon a sobbing Brooke runs through the door and goes into the elevator. I run after her, but go up the stairs.

I walk into her room and see her packing her stuff into her suitcase. "Brooke what are you doing?" I ask. "I'm leaving," She cries, "I'm not gonna be around people who don't want me here." "Brooke relax. He was justs being an ass. Don't listen to him." I grab the clothes out of her hand. She responds by sobbing into my shoulder. Then someone bursts through the door. "Brooke please don't leave," Jack J says out of breath. She gets off my and hugs Jack. I sigh and walk into my room. No one was in their so I change into Jack's sweatshirt and sweats and jump into Jacks bed.

About five minutes later, Jack and Hayes walk into the room. I look up from my phone and laugh. "What happened?" I ask, gesturing to the eggs on their faces and shirts. "Nash." They laugh. "Can you help me clean this up?" Jack asks while taking off his shirt. "Yeah," I laugh and get up. Hayes wiggles his eyebrows at me, I laugh and shake my head.

Me and Jack are in the bathroom and I'm sitting on the counter while he stands in front of me. Why the fuck does he have to be so tall? I think to myself. Once I'm done cleaning off his face, he smiles at me and puts on a clean shirt then walks out of the bathroom. As I'm getting off the counter, I feel something run down my leg. I lock the door then see what it was.

Hell.

Tears flooded my eyes. I unlock the door and run out. "Someone take me to the hospital." I choke out through my tears. Hayes and Jack both shoot up and Jack grabs the keys.

We get into the car and tears are still falling out of my eyes like waterfalls. "Sky. What's wrong." Hayes asks, with concern in his voice. "Just get me to the hospital." I sob.

Once we get there, I run up to the front counter and tell her what just happened. She takes me into an emergency room and I wait for the doctor while Hayes and Jack sit in the waiting room. Soon the doctor comes in and does tests. He then says the words that I've been hoping not to hear since the beginning of my pregnancy.

"I'm sorry Ms. Mendez, but you have had a miscarriage."

They take me into a room and gave me stuff to go unconscious. They then cut my stomache open and took the dead baby out, stitched up my stomache, then left.

Once I woke up tears streamed down my face. The doctor came in and informed me that ten people were in the waiting room for me. I nod and tell him to bring them in, two at a time, but to make sure that the girl was first and the one with bandana couldn't come in. I couldn't face Taylor right now. He nodded and left but soon back in with Brooke and Hayes. They both ran up to me with tears in their eyes and hugged me. Brooke stayed the whole time while all the guys came in and hugged me and told me that they were sorry.
