Chapter 18

About two days later, the nurse said that I had all my paperwork filled out and that I could leave when ever I wanted. I thanked her and started getting up. Once I got all my stuff, changed out of that unconfortable hospital dress, and called Shawn to pick me up.

"Hey Sky. You doing alright?" He asks, I could hear a bunch of girls screaming in the background. "Yeah I'm fine," I lie. I wasn't fine at all. I really wanted to have this baby and now it's gone. "Uh, the nurse filled out my paperwork and stuff so I can leave but I need someone to pick me up because I have no car," I tell him. "Okay I'll be there soon. I love you Sky," He tells me. "I love you too Shawn," I say and hang up.

Soon, Shawn pulls up and I get into his car. "Well Magcon is going on right now, I didn't know if you wanted to go or not," He tells me. "Um.. I think I'm just gonna stay for a while.." I trail off. He nods and soon we arrive at the hotel. He drops me off and then leaves for Magcon.

I walk into my room and start packing all my stuff back into my suitcase. Then I go on my Surface Pro 3 and see if there are tickets any flights going back to North Carolina. (A/N: I know Cam doesn't live there but idgaf) I just really wanted to go home. I saw that their was a flight at 6:30 and it was 5:00 right now.

I sighed and grabbed my suitcase. God damn it. I have no way to get there. I sigh and look at my phone.

PooBear 💕: You doing okay?

Skyyy 🎀: Are you guys almost done?

PooBear 💕: No one is in my line at the moment. What's wrong?

Skyyy 🎀: Can you come to the hotel really quick?

PooBear 💕: Of course. Be there in a few.

I needed to tell Hayes that I was leaving. I need to go home.

Minutes later, Hayes runs into my room. "What's wrong Sky?" He asks, "Hayes. I'm going home," I tell him.

"What? Why!?"

"Hayes being here is too stressful right now. I need to go home," I sigh.

"Please don't," He looks at me.

"I need too," I tell him and pull him in for a hug. "After I leave you cannot tell anyone where I went. Okay?" I tell him and he nods. "I promise," He kisses my cheek. "I'm going to the airport now. You wanna come with me?" I ask him. He nods and takes my hand while I grab my suitcase.

~At the Airport~

"Once the tour is over then you can tell the guys and you all can come back to my house for the rest of the summer. My house is big enough for everyone," I tell Hayes and he nods and hugs me again.

"Flight number 48 to North Carolina is now boarding."

"Bye Loser," I say and he laughs then kisses my cheek and hugs me again before I enter the plane.

-At Home-

Once I got to my house, I noticed a car in my driveway. I shrugged and brought my bags inside. I then noticed someone was in my kitchen because my fridge opened and closed. "Hello?" I ask. Soon I see my cousin standing in front of me with a piece of pizza in her hand. "Bella?" I ask and she nods, smiling. I drop all my bags and hug her tightly. "I missed you so much!" I smile. "I missed you too," She laughs.

"Just one question though," I ask. "How did you get in my house?"

"Oh well you see, your windows weren't locked.."

"Oh my god Bella. You climbed through my windows?"

"Uh.... Yeah,"

"Oh god,"

Bella is my cousin. Me, Shawn, and Bella used to do everything together as kids but when my parents got divorced, I lost all contact with her.

"So.. what are you doing here, exactly?" I ask her,

"Uh well, I may or may not have gotten kicked out of my appartment.." She laughs.

"Oh god, Bella," I laugh, "What did you do this time?" Bella always got in trouble when we were kids for pulling pranks on our parents and being immature in public to embarress anyone who was with us.

"I might have made a whipped cream slip-n-slide in my living room..." She laughs and I smile and shake my head.

"So, can I stay here for a while? You know, until I get my own place?" She pleads. "Sure," I laugh.

She yawns and I do too. "I'm tired," she says. "Me too," I say back. I put my suitcases in my room and guided her to the guest room I had, where she put all her stuff and climbed on the bed. "Goodnight, Sky." "Goodnight, Bella."

~SKIPPING REST OF THE MAGCON TOUR~

"The tour is over and Shawn and Brooke won't stop asking about you. We're at the airport now." Hayes says through the phone. "Can we please come now? It's been like two months." He asks. "Fine," I sigh. "YES!" He cheers, which causes me to let out a small laugh. "I'll see you soon. Bye Sky!" "Bye Hayes," I laugh and hang up.

"Who was that?" Bella asks as she walks out of her room and into the kitchen. "Hayes," I laugh. "Oh my god! I haven't seen him in forever!" She says while putting waffles in the toaster. "Well you'll see him soon. Him and the rest of the guys are coming over after their flight and their gonna stay here for the rest of the summer." I tell her. "Brooke's coming too, right?" She asks. "Yeah, she is. But BE NICE!" I say the last part a little louder. Her and Brooke don't really get along very well.. "I will, I will." She laughs.

The whole time I was gone, I only communicated with Hayes. No one else. Just Hayes.

As me and Bella waited for our waffles, I went on twitter, something I haven't done in a while. I looked at the trending tags and almost started crying.

#whathappenedtosky was trending worldwide.

I started scrolling through the tweets with that hashtag and saw one that caught my eye.

@(Random fan's twitter name): @taylorcaniff how could you say that? We thought you loved her? #whathappenedtosky #wemissyousky

I scrolled up and saw something awful.

@taylorcaniff: Guys stop worrying about Skylar so much. It's not like anyone actually cares that she's gone.

After I read that, I threw my phone at the wall and sobbed. Bella rushed over to me and held me in her arms while I cried on her shoulder. After I started to calm down, she went over to my phone, which suprisingly only had a slight crack through the corner if the screen, and looked at it.

"Why the hell would he do that?!" She sighed and ran her hand through her hair. "I wasn't enough for him," I whispered, tears streaming down my face.

Minutes later we heard a knock on the door. I wiped my face and walked to the door. I looked through the peephole and opened the door with a confused expression on my face.
