When I woke up, I noticed Matt's arms wrapped tightly around my waist. "Matt," I lightly shake him. He groans. "Matt," I say again. He groans again. "God damn it, Matthew," I laugh and smack his head. "IM UP!" He announces and sits up. "Yay," I laugh. "And now I'm going back down," He closes his eyes and falls backwards onto the bed. "Oh lord," I shake my head. I check my phone for the time and see that I have a text from Taylor.

Taylor💘: If it wasn't clear to you enough, It's over.

Tears were brimming my eyes as I threw my phone at the wall for the second time and I didn't even care if it broke or not. I ripped Matt's arms off me and ran out of the room. I ran down the hall to the last room and opened the door. I don't even understand why I care this much about him when he obviously doesn't give a shit about me. I quietly closed the door and locked it behind me. I walked towards the wall of all my pictures. I sat on the mattress in front of the wall, tears now falling down my cheeks. I looked at all of the pictures on the wall. There was a clothing line which was full of pictures hanging on by clips and under it, Live Laugh Love was spelled in pictures.

I looked at each picture individually, something I did a lot when I was stressed or upset. Many of them were from middle school with me and my friends being all weird during spring break. I looked up at the ones hanging from clips when one caught my eye. I took it off the clip and looked at it closely. I was about 7 and Shawn was 8. We were sitting on a deck, our feet dangling off the edge and into the water. He had an arm around me and my head was leaning on his shoulder. We were both looking out into the water. I smiled at the memory of me and Shawn being so close. I wiped my eyes and faceplanted into the mattress.

Minutes later, there was a knock on the door. "Go away," I groan and roll over, which causes me to fall on the floor. "Open the door, idiot." Brooke laughs through the door. I get up and open the door.

"Wow. you look like shit." She laughs and I looked at her. She was wearing a black muscle tee with "Don't Be Mean" on it in white spray painted letters, black leggings, (A/N: this is very typical for Brooke 😒)and black and white tribal print vans. She had her hair perfectly curled and she had a couple strands of her hair pinned to the back. Her makeup looked perfect as always, light pink lipstick, a small amount of pink blush, mascara, and her perfect winged eyeliner.

I, on the other hand, didn't have any makeup on, I was wearing a black magcon sweatshirt, grey Cameron Dallas sweats, my hair in an extreamely messy bun, so messy I don't even think it looked like a bun, and my nerd glasses on instead of my contacts.

"Thanks for pointing out the obvious," I roll my eyes. "Why you so bitchy?" She asks. "Taylor." I roll my eyes again and she sighs. "We are going to go do something else instead of moping around the house looking like a bum." She orders, dragging me out of the room and into my own.

She starts looking through my closet while I sit on my bed, arms crossed. I guess Matt went downstairs or something because he's not here.

She throws me a black crew neck sweatshirt with "Classy As Fuck" printed on it in white letters, white ripped jeans, and black combat boots. I walk into the bathroom to change and open the door once I'm finished. She then walks in with her PINK makeup bag and spreads everything she was using all over the counter. She puts light foundation all over my face and a small amount of bronzer. She gives me a Matte Red lipstick and I put it on. She hands me her Better Than Sex mascara and I applied two coats of that. She then does her perfect winged eyeliner on me.

I looked in the mirror once she was done and smiled. "Thank you," I said as I pulled her into a hug. "No problem," She laughs. "I'd do anything to fix your ugly face," She adds. "And the old Brooke is back," I annouce and pull away from the hug while she laughs.
