When I returned back to the apartment I realized that only Lexie was there, she was getting ready to go out but where to, I Had no idea. She hurriedly put on a pair of bright blue sneakers when she noticed me, "Hey.." she mumbled as she tied her hair behind he head in a tight ponytail "Imogen should be back in ten minutes and Raspberry is on a date with Liam so they will probably come back soon and watch horror movies, that's just a warning 'cause Rasp just LOVES to play them on full

volume".

She looked extremely distracted and nervous as if she was anxious about something important, her eyes darted around the room and she lightly (but noticeably) bit her bottom lip, it was clear she was either not telling me something or she's scared of something.

"So I'm just going to get to the point, why are you nervous?" She looked up at me in a startled manner she started to defend herself but I quickly cut her off " Cut the crap and don't try to deny it just tell me what's up".

She sighed in mock defeat, Raspberry's dramatic antics were rubbing off on her, "Well.... me and Zaynee had a.....minor disagreement and were trying to fix it", she was clearly under exaggerating the situation and it was kinda pitiful.

"Come on there is something your not telling me, what is it?".

"Nothing....well someth- NO nothing!"

"You aren't getting out of this"

And eventually after much pushing she finally caved, she slumped on the couch and began to tell her story with a monotone expression painted on her once nervous and sweaty face.

"Well it started when me and Zayne organized a date but he was busy so then we organized another one and he didn't show, again. So we texted a bit and yesterday I lost my phone and when I find it someone has texted him all these horrible things then today he was texting me mean and horrible things and he said it wasn't him, can you believe that" She ranted her volume slowly growing.

She took a large, deep breath and continued in a much more controlled voice "So I told him it wasn't me who said that so we agreed to meet in a few minutes and I'm really not sure what to believe and I'm sort of ju-" Lexie was quickly cut off when the sound of a foot colliding with a door and it bursting open echoed through the small and quaint apartment, we both instantly knew who this was.

"Crap my shoe!" the voice cried as footsteps echoed down the hall until the person reached us "Sup bitches guess who is going to get rid of Crissy!", it was Imogen.

Imogen rarely had this sort of attitude so she was very proud of herself, behind her I saw the silhouette of a man like woman.

"I found this asshole, scampering around campus, and I recognized her" the rest of what Imogen said was a blur. I was lost in Crissy's eyes. they were the same emerald green as the man I saw earlier.

I fell out of my zone of shock when I heard Imogen say:

"And I thrented Crissy with a restraining order, invasion of privacy, hacking, illegally looking at private footage. Because i'm studying law, I know that the chance of you winning a case with that many charges is tiny. And pfff... those were just the tip of the iceberg, Raspberry is still 17 so because I don't really like Liam, I have screenshots of nudes of Raspberry incase he ever raped her, and because Crissy hacked into my phone she would have access to those photos so child pornography."

"jees Imogen you could get charged with that too" Lexie said adjusting her glasses.

We sat Crissy down, and talked about why she did it. while we were talking she kept winking at Lexie. Raspberry told us about how strait Lexie is so I giggled under my breath every time Lexie saw her and the look of disgust on her face was priceless.

"Who put a cup of coffee on my glasses. LIke for real they are so so sticky, I can't see anything out of them." Lexie said trying to wipe brown stuff of her glasses

Lexie went off to go to the bathroom and Imogen went outside to answer a call, Crissy and I were left all alone.

The tension was like a long rope choking us, we looked like we didn't want to be here but we had finally cornered Crissy and I was certainly underprepared. Now that I had a chance to focus on her face I realized she was wearing a mask...... of makeup.

Her foundation was like a new layer of skin, her lipstick overlined her lips so much so that she had added a extra 3 cm to her lips.

"so who are you to Imogen? hmm... a friend? a room mate? her mother?" Crissy said sarcastically, obviously tipping at my height.

"her girlfriend actually. Oh and I'm sorry you didn't have enough steak and milk for you to be as tall as moi".

She stared at me like I had just told her I was a unicorn, she was definetely weirded out and confused.

"But that's not the point, I want to know why you did this all?" I asked genuinely curious to her reasoning for her extreme and unecesary actions.

That's when I truly realized what we were dealing with, her nevous and awkward attitude dissolved and disappered into thin air leaving a small hole big enough to peak through, and through that I saw something terrifying, a monster. A monster hiding under makeup and facades.

Because in that moment I saw the gleam of malice and insanity dancing in her green eyes, the slight smile of someone who has achieved their goals a sick smirk of satisfaction that almost looked deadly. This was not a normal human.

"Celine Yelldich, didn't I tell you?" her tone was mocking and fake but beneath it she was getting serious, her voice became steady and smooth like a liquid and I could pick up that her slight british accent stood out even more now "It's a hobby! And might I say I absolutely adore watching how people react when they discover a person knows their dark secrets but it is SO much more amazing to see it, see their barriers slowly deteriorate as they accept their inevitable fate and , oh my the fear in their eyes! It's the sort of thing people like me live off, it's like a drug you just crave it more and more and when you finally get it your are free and then once you've had your fun you just want more!".

And with that in mind she stood up and walked out, I knew I could've stopped her, reached out and grabbed her arm forcing her to stay but when you feel that sort of fear, the kind that make you want to throw up and scream for it to go away, you don't want that back.
