Lemons

Xinyi was laying on the couch when she suddenly heard the boys egging someone on. It was followed by groans and foot steps.

She stood up and walked into the the kitchen, her feet softly padding against the hard surface of the floor. She rubbed her eyes lightly before deadpanning at the boys. They surrounded the table with a huge bowl. She saw the yellow fruit beaming at her and understood exactly what the boys were doing.

They were daring each other to eat the sour fruit. Xinyi was just fine watching them making fools of themselves. She remember her brother tried lemons a few times and he did not like them at all.

Xinyi on the other had loved lemons, they were her favorite fruit.

"Xinyi!" Minghao cheered. "You should try."

"I'm good." Xinyi said translating it into Korean. The China line was attempting to speak more and more Korean even if it was rather difficult.

"Yeah Xinyi-noona join in!" Seokmin exclaimed excitedly. "Beat you can't eat them." He said teasingly. The rest of the boys had a hard enough time tasting the first bites of the sourness.

Xinyi raised an eyebrow at the taunt. Surely she couldn't back down now. She sighed and said. "Fine, hand me a lemon."

The boys cheered loudly causing Xinyi to wince and cover her ears. She already had a headache from earlier that day, which was why she was resting.

Jun handed Xinyi a lemon and said, "Good luck."

"I don't need luck." Xinyi said chuckling lightly. 

She easily popped the lemon into her mouth and started chewing it casually. "It's good." Xinyi muttered, her mouth full of lemon. 

The boys stared at her in complete shock. "HOW?!"
