She watched quietly as the smell of burning flesh and hair filled her nose. It was a rule she made to herself. Anytime she killed a human, she'd burn every trace and evidence into pure ashes, then burry them under the biggest tree in the woods.During the blood moon, an uproar had risen in the village which lead to top ANBU scouting the area for the vicious beast.
They almost caught her. Almost. So of course the 'demon' was never found. But that just proved the Suicide Forest to be even more lethal and dangerous than it was before. So why the hell did people still come back there?
She stared at the flaming ashes in thought. Humans were intriguing creatures that fascinated her. She wanted to understand them. Why they lived, why they died. Why they were willing to give their lives for the safety of their 'loved ones'.
The two people she'd killed refused to run. They held hands and accepted their fate. A very smart choice. They knew they couldn't outrun her.
She gazed up at the sky.
Why were they so different from the other animals she'd killed. They looked like her. Had hands as large or small as hers. Was this what they called 'evolution'?
Maybe a different breed from the same species.
The house was cold when she left. Just like before. At times she wandered who built it, who stayed. Were they as void as the abandoned building? Maybe.
She'd lived there ever since the age of one. It had everything she needed. Clothes, shoes and a bed. But she never really used the bed. She just laid in and pretended to sleep.
An hour of walking later...
The busy streets of Konoha were as lively as ever. Children played, adults worked. The old rested. It was a never ending cycle of happiness. Konoha, the most peaceful and carefree of all The Five Great Hidden Villages. Just another normal day.
Almost normal.
They stared, they gossiped, they wondered. Curious eyes scanned the little figure judgingly. She was different. They dispised different.
But they said nothing. It didn't matter if she smiled or frowned. The superior aura she let out crushed any courage they had mastered to drive her out.
A little girl in a black dress and similar shoes with onyx eyes and short neatly kept hair as dark as night. The scorching sun seemed to have done no damage to her pale white skin.
Wherever she passed, people did a double take at her and women scolded their partners who stared shamelessly at her divine beauty.
From the shadows, a figure followed. Watching her every step and movement made. He had already sent message. His leader soon joined him.
Is that the package?
Yes sir
What is it doing here?
I-i don't know sir
Should we pursue?
He stared at her as she danced her way through the crowd.
Too many witnesses. Wait till isolated. Besides, there's something I want to test.
Yes sir!
Her eyes sparkled as she watched them all. They were like roasted chicken roaming about and calling her name.
She clenched her teeth tight to stop the fangs that threatened to show. Discipline. There were too many people. Besides, she'd had her fill. Three men were enough to sustain her for the rest of the week.
Her eyes flickered from black to red to black. So quick only an experienced shinobi would notice.
And that is exactly what he saw. He was impressed. Even at a young age she managed such control. But for how long?
The sun had begun to set. She sat on a rooftop watching the diminishing crowd. She had spent the entire day observing and studying many things about the people. They took care of their own but drove outsiders away.
They cried about little things and laughed about others mistakes. Some were good, some were bad. Some were in between whiles others didn't know what to be. Humans were...strange.
A sudden cold wave washed over her as she heard the whimper of a child. Following the sound, she made sure to stay as silent and hidden as possible.
Her head snapped at a speed so fast to the entrance of an alleyway, you'd almost think she had a whiplash.
Blood.
A small boy had scraped his knee.
Her eyes immediately flickered to red, glowing wild and vibrant. Claws grew out, fangs protruded.
Without hesitation, she sank her teeth into his neck, tearing recklessly at his fragile skin. It was quick and simple. Only a wince was heard from him before he fell limp in her clutches.
She purred as the sweet liquid went down her throat. How unfortunate of the kid to be found alone. Hastily picking the unmoving body, she disappeared into the darkening night, not a single regret for visiting the village.
He widened his eyes for only a fraction before shaking his head. The creature was still a danger to the public. They needed to act quick. Their only solution.
Watch out for Bloody Five!
