Frisk rushed to the lobby searching for their mother, but she wasn't there.

-Hey, slow down, punk! -Undyne stopped them. -Haven't I told you several times not to run here? This is a hospital not a playground.

[I need to find my mom, it's very important]

-I don't understand your mumbo jumbo, kid.

The child ran around her, they didn't have time for explanations.

     -Hey, come back here!

Frisk entered Toriel's office but she wasn't there either, instead there was a pieze of paper pasted on the wall with micropore band. The letters were written with black ink and the moment they read it the blood dissappeared from their face.

"If you want to see your mother ever again give me his powers."

[Papyrus, do you think he would actually hurt her?]
—I don't know, kid. He want's my brother's powers after all.
Frisk shrugged and felt a lump in his neck.
     [I'll save them]
     —How?
     [With determination]

Sans was playing with his stuffed animal when they entered the room.
—Are you completely sure about this?
Frisk nodded and took the ID pass to open the contention cell.
     —Hey buddy, whatcha doin'?
[My mom is in trouble, Gaster kidnapped her and wants your powers in return]
—Are you gonna turn me in?
     They shook their head.
[I want you to help me defeat him, you are the only one powerful enough to win this battle. Let's stop his abuse, let's set you free]
Frisk extended a hand but the skeleton hesitated.
—He is my father, you know? He may have done terrible things to us but I still love him. Plus Papy can help you, he is very powerful. Aren't you, little brother?
Frisk looked at the ghost with the corner of his eye and he walked towards Sans.
—Brother, what happened that day we went to the surface?
     —Which day? Teehee.
—The day we went to explore the surface and we saw some humans. Before we came to this hospital.
Sans tilted his head trying to remember.
—I think we encounter some humans but I can't quite recall, my memory is blurry.
Papyrus looked at him to the eyes and continued patiently.
—Indeed, we encounter some humans but do you remember what happened then? What they did to me?
Sans was trying so hard to focus and remember.
—I think- I think they were upset about something. There's this odd picture in my mind of them arguing with you. What's wrong, Papy?
—That they the humans got scared of us because they had never seen monsters before. They dead threatened us so you tried to explain to them that we weren't going to hurt them but they didn't listen and tried to kill you. You dodged every attack and told me to flee. But when you were distracted.../
—A human got me from behind.
     —And I stepped in between.
Sans eyes disappeared leaving just a black eye socket. Pappyrus pushed Frisk behind him just in case but the skeleton didn't move an inch.
     —But we scaped...
—You scaped, you refused to kill them but you were in shock. You managed to get to Waterfalls leaving in every echo flower the desperate call of my name. Grillby found you scratching yourself and yelling, covered in blood.
Sans started crying but his eyes were still pure blackness.
     —But you are here...
—I was murdered that day, Sans. I died, I'm just a ghost.
His eyes finally appeared and looked at him.
—No, it can't be true...not my baby bones.
Papyrus embraced him tightly and sighed closing his eyes.
—Everything's okay, brother. I will be fine, I just needed to be sure that you were fine.
—I am not okay, I have no powers, no sanity and I lost you.
—I will always be with you, Sans. But right now we must save Toriel and make sure you get properly treated. Frisk will help you.
—Are you sure I will be able to help? What if I'm just a burden and I get triggered and have a breakdown?
Papyrus placed a hand over his head.
—You won't, big bro. I believe in you.
[And so do I] they signed and hugged him.
     Sans smiled.
     —Let's save Doctor Toriel.

Without his straight jacket his scars  and coloured band-aids were visible he had a hospital gown and his pink slippers. He walked through the corridors with Frisk by the hand.
—We must find a way to pass Undyne without her noticing —said Papyrus.
     [I'll distract her]
Frisk walked across the corridor and pulled her uniform to call her attention.
—Oh, it's you again, punk. What are you up to? It's late, you were supposed to leave with Doctor Toriel hours ago.
Frisk signed randomly until she stopped them.
—You know I don't know sign language.
They took her by the hand and pulled her while pointing at the door. They wanted to take her as far as they could so Sans and Papyrus could get out.
—Okay, show me what you want. But make it fast, I have to do rounds.
It was already night so the hospital was very lonely and Sans was able to get to the emergency exit.
He opened his eyes widely when he got outside, he had been locked behind the contention glass for too long.
—Let's wait for Frisk here, okay? —Papyrus said.
Sans nodded and looked around, colors suddenly felt brigther now that he wasn't between the white walls.
Footsteps were heard in the distance and Frisk appeared behind the bushes.
     [Let's do it]
