A Different Kind Of High School Love

The Date

Maya's POV

It was lunch time on a Friday at work when he asked me out.

He just came up to me,

"Maya? what are you doing tonight?" he asked

"Nothing, just hanging out with Max, making dinner, maybe watch a movie" I said looking at him

"Do you want to go to dinner with me?" he asked

"Uh, yeah! sure! what time and where?" I asked

"Um, Little Miss Steaks? I'll pick you up at 7?"

"Yeah sure! see you then Miles!" I said happily

"Mommy, you look pretty!" Max said as he came in my room with Katie

"Thanks sweetie!" I said looking at myself in the mirror

I had on a tight black dress and black heels, an outfit that I haven't worn since I dated Miles, I never even wore it for Cam.

"Are you sure your going to be ok?" I said to Katie as I walked to the door

"Yes we are fine, go!" she said

I heard a knock at the door,

"Hi Miles." I said letting him in

"Wow, you look...wow!" he said looking at my dress

"MILES!" Max came running over

"Hey buddy! how are you?" Miles said hugging Max

"Good. I miss you." Max said

"I miss you too buddy. Maya we have to go." Miles said

"Ok. bye guys!" I walked out the door and to Miles' car

"Tonight was fun, I hope we can do it again sometime?" I said going to Miles' car and getting in

"Yeah we should do this more often." Miles said turning to look at me

As soon as I knew it our lips smashed together. Miles and I decided to go back to his place. he was pretty much speeding to gets to his house. I had my hand on his leg the entire time.

When we got there we went straight to his room.

I felt the same way I did that night as I had back in high school.

The next day I arrived home doing the walk of shame. Katie was up waiting for me,

"Walk of shame I assume?" she said while sitting on the couch

I had just came in the front door, wearing the same cloths and carrying my heels.
