She couldn't believe what she was seeing. Athena was threatening to kill Percy if she didn't break up with him. So she did the only thing that made sense. She walked to Percy and said to him forcing out the words. We have t-t-to talk. Percy smiled whatever you want wise girl. That made Annabeth feel even worse. She led him to the canoe lake. She remembered exactly how her mother said to break up too. She walked him to the canoe lake. Percy.... you haven't been acting brave at all. You've been acting like....like she chocked. Like a jerk she yelled in anger focusing it all at Athena so it seemed believable. You've been so caught up in yourself you never even pay attention to me. I'm sorry wise girl I'll try harde-no she screamed at the sky. I only liked you for your looks and because you protected me! I never even wanted to be your friend! Percy's hurt expression made her want to cry. His eyes filled with tears and he looked away. She couldn't believe Athena hated him so much as to make Annabeth do this. Next she yelled at him you've never been enough. Falling to tartus? Why are you so awful? Although she said you were fun to toy with she said forcing out a laugh. Percy stared at her mouth open wide. He looked away a tear falling from his face. Your weak she said trying to focus her anger to save him. Then she braced herself to do it. She kicked him and walked off. Once she was away she sobbed. Then Jason walked in looking mad. Why would you do that to Percy! I thought you loved him! He screamed. I'm telling Piper too! She deserves to know you followed the old Aphrodite rule! The rest of the seven slowly came in but Piper came in in tears. I never thought.....well I thought I finally had a good trustworthy friend. Why would you toy with him tell him you never loved him. I do love him! She screamed. Piper stared at her. Then you have a lot of explaining she said crossing her arms.
