I'm ready

Dallas POV

I held Lamar's hand and brought him out to the back yard.

Going into the back yard, I could see many wolves from our pack here.

As I looked around I spot my aunt and uncle sitting around a table.

I wanted to introduce Lamar to them so I dragged him over there.

"Hey Doc," I yell as I approach the table. "Oh Dallas," Ben says.

"Nice to see both of you here," I tell them, "yeah well business is slow," my aunt says.

"This is my Aunt and uncle. there Waco parents," I whispered to him.

"Ahh Lamar I see Dallas finally got his fangs in you," she says to Lamar.

Crap I forgot that he worked for her at the bar that she own.

"Hey Katy," he says to her awkwardly. "Nice to meet you young man I hope this boy is treating you okay," Ben says to him.

"He's the best ahh," he said, "call me doc most people do," Ben says.

"Nice to meet you doc," Lamar says and shakes his hand.

"Okay were going to go meet up with the rest of the family," I say and escort him from the table.

When we had move a safe distant form the table , Lamar whispered to me and say, " why the hell didn't you tell me that Katy was your aunt."

"I forgot I'm sorry," I say to him.

He looks at me and releases my hands and walks away.

I knew he was upset and I didn't want to add fuel to the fire.

"Hey bud," someone said as they tap my shoulder, looking around I saw it was my Uncle Texas.

"Hey there," I said to him, "so where's the handsome mate of yours that I've heard so much about," he said.

"Oh Lamar, he went to the bath room," I lied.

"Can't believe I missed him but I came over here to get your help, I need someone on the grills," he says.

"You know I can't cook to save my life," I tell him.

"Yeah I know, its Hector's help I need but him and his boys are playing cards and won't leave the dame game, just step in for him," my uncle says.

"Sure why not," and that's how I got stuck playing cards with Hector's cronies. While he helped Texas with the barbeque.

Lamar's POV

I was a little upset with that bastard but I knew I would forgive him but not right now.

Now I can't stand his face, I went over to a buffet to pick up food, I saw a very pregnant lady eating
food form table with her hands.

She was stuffing the food in her mouth, she most have scene me watching her because she turned around and look at me.

Her jaws were puff up probably from eating too much food. "Do you want one," she says offering me one of the little sandwich in her hand.

She came across muffled with all that food in her mouth but i  heard her and took the food form her greasy hand.

"Howdy I haven't seen you around here before," she smiles at me.

"I'm new here, I just came here with my mate," I tell her.

"Wait a minute your not dallys mate are yo," she ask me.
