Life With Zero

Chapter 7: Conclusion

(Many years later)

During the years of Zero and I being together, we were blessed with a son. Ai was jealous for a bit but slowly came around to the idea that she had a little half-brother. We enjoyed our time together and I was able to watch my children grown into people I wish the world had more of. Sadly Zero wasn't able to see Ren get to adulthood. He died trying to save a child and turned to dust in my arms. 

I knew what I needed to do next and worked towards making it come true as I helped the Hunter Society create the perfect world that could coexist with what remain vampires were left. Ai and Ren spent the rest of the years helping me as I worked diligently. I worked towards the day I could bring my beloved Kaname back and I wanted him to devour my life that i had lived for so long.

(A few years later)

I have finally decided that I will resurrect my beloved brother.  I took my children to the Hunter Association and watched as they put the flame out of the furnace. I could feel that I was calm as I collected Kaname's heart from it and went over to his frozen body. I broke the ice as my children watched and placed my brothers body down on the rubble that was left. I placed his heart back into his body and pressed my forehead to his as I spoke.

"When you are having fun and are in love, the time flies by fast. Our mother use to tell me to always stay smiling and to have fun. Over the years I have had many fun and exciting adventures with Zero. I was able to have his child and to raise my daughter with him. Although not many people have seen our relationship as healthy or good for the vampire society, I didn't care. I am glad that I was able to bring happiness into his life like he did for mine. Now I am giving you this heart of mine so you can experience the same joy as I did."

I looked over at my children and smiled one last smile to them. "My children, I love you both and am so happy to spend as much of my life with you two as I could. Please take care of your father for me." I got up and hugged Ai and then Ren before returning back to Kaname. I held his face in my hands softly as I spoke " The world I saw through human eyes. I want to give that world to you...my beloved."
