It's been almost three months since I last saw Jack, in person. We text all the time and every week we skype. We've gotten really close. Before he left, Jack said he wanted to try a relationship after the months. I hope he still wants to give it a go because I do. I just got home from Cross country practice and Jack wants to Skype. I eat my dinner as quickly as possible and call him.
"Hey Lilly!" He yells when the call connects.
"Hey JJ! Next time can you scream louder, I don't think my eardrum has burst yet!"
He laughs and we carry on the normal conversation we always have. While he told me about the crazy dream he had, I did my homework. While I told him about the funny things that happened in school, he ate some noodles. I couldn't figure out where he was though.
"Jack? Where are you? I've been trying to figure it out all night" I asked.
"Now!" he yelled
"Now what-" I got cut off by my cousin yelling for me. "Be right back Jack, What?!"
"Some guy is here to see you?"
"Who?" I asked as I walked out of my room. He shrugged his shoulders. It was Jack G...
"Hey Liz!" I walked outside and hugged him.
"What are you doing here?" Jack didn't answer, instead he grabbed the poster that was standing on the side of the porch and ran to the side walk where six other people stood holding posters similar to Jack, reading; "Hey Darla, wanna go steady?" I laughed, it was an inside joke between JJ and I. How did these people know about it?
"Because I put them up to it!" JJ said as he walked in front of me with a bouquet of White and Purple SUPER Lisianthus Flowers. Lol, my favorite! "So, what 'ya say, Darla, wanna go steady?"
"I thought you'd never ask!" I hugged him and he spun me around. Awe, I've been waiting for this!
