Changmin woke up abruptly from a strange reoccurring nightmare he couldn't seem to escape from. No matter how much he ran, he couldn't outrun his own mind. He checked his alarm clock and realized it was 2:00 in the morning. Insomnia kept him awake tonight, and he remembered he had homework he was supposed to do.

He sighed a little too loudly and tried to get out of bed to try and find his unfinished work. He stumbled in the dark, running into the coffee table before finding his bag on the couch. He turned on the lamp and flinched a little at how bright the light was. He rummaged through his overflowing bag to try and find a pencil and his work.

He was insanely tired and still a bit blind from the light. He couldn't find his homework and he started to panic. He didn't want to get in trouble. Unlike that reckless kid Yunho. He doesn't seem to care at all about his work. Changmin did.

He had a mini heart attack before finding his work in his binder. He pulled it out and starting working. He thought working so early in the morning would be a bad idea considering he wasn't really awake. He finished his math and english. He ended up falling asleep on the couch.

He didn't have the same nightmare, but a dream so delicate, he woke up in a mood that stuck a smile on his pretty face. He scrambled to get all of his work into his bag, trying not to wake Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo was his roommate. They've been best friends since they were little. They've been attached to each other since diapers.

Kyungsoo was pretty much Changmin's boyfriend. I mean, they lived with each other, hugged each other every day, even said i love you. Changmin giggled at the thought of a boyfriend. He loved Kyungsoo, but not as a boyfriend. He wasn't even interested in any males. Some girls in his class made his pants a bit tighter. But Changmin was too pure for that, so he never minded it.

This morning, he drove himself and Kyungsoo to school. Kyungsoo woke up a little later than usual so it was quite a rush to get him ready. When Kyung was sleepy, it was impossible to get him ready. Kyungsoo was terribly tired. Apparently, Changmin had woken him at 2:00 when he stumbled into the coffee table.

Changmin apologized many times. He didn't mean to wake Kyung. When they got to school, they both went their separate ways.

Changmin's first class was english. He was the first person into the classroom, which was surprising, considering how long it took to get Kyung ready.

The first thing Changmin did was take out a freshly sharpened pencil and his homework from the night before. The handwriting was a bit sloppy, but that's what he expected. Despite the handwriting, he thought he did pretty well.

It was 8:30 AM. Class was just starting. Everyone had filed into class at the same time. They all took their seats and started talking. The teacher, Mr. Kim, started his lesson. Suddenly, at 8:50 AM, Yunho walked through the door and plopped down in his seat.

"Would you like to explain why you're twenty minutes late?" Yunho, being the weirdo that he is, gave a stupid answer that made Mr. Kim a little upset. "Do you at least have your homework" Mr. Kim asked. Yunho pulled out a crumpled piece of paper that had two sentences written on it.

It read "I lost the original sheet. English is stupid anyway." Changmin let out a small giggle at Yunho's pathetic work. "What the hell are you laughing at?" Yunho mocked.

Changmin blushed slightly and hid his face with his sleeves. How rude. He doesn't care about anyone. Yunho's snarky remarks landed him in detention.

Class eventually ended and it was time for math. The bell rang and Changmin walked out of the classroom and walked to his locker. He started to open it, but he was greeted with a slam against his locker

Changmin was taken aback. He looked up to see the tall figure that had slammed him against the locker. It was none other than Yunho.

"W-What do y-you want?" Changmin stuttered.
"I just wanna show you what happens when you laugh at me, kid," Yunho growled, smirking.

Changmin gulped. He was being held up against his locker with almost the entire grade staring at them.

His eyes welled up with tears and he tried to hold them back, but he failed. He had never been in a fight before because he was the 'good kid' and never associated with the 'bad kids'.

"Aw, is the little crybaby sad? Too bad." And at that, Yunho had punched Changmin in the face. It wasn't that hard, but it was enough to bust his lip.

Changmin started crying even more. He was humiliated. He hung his head down in shame, ready to take whatever fight Yunho gave.

Yunho lifted Changmin's chin and traced his bleeding lip with his index finger. "Huh..?" Changmin was confused.

Yunho snickered and let go of Changmin, letting him fall to the floor. Changmin started to look up, only to realize Yunho was gone and he was late to class.

Changmin sighed and stood up. He figured it was best to just go to class. He got his stuff and walked to his math class.

He opened the door and walked inside, and before he knew it, everyone was staring at him. Even the teacher. The teacher, Mrs. Choi, cleared her throat.

"Care to explain why you're late? She asked. Changmin looked around. Yunho was in this class too. Changmin didn't wanna start another fight again.

"I-I uh.. I was..-" he was cut off by the teacher. "Skipping class, hm? I would have never expected that from you. Whatever. Detention." Just great. Now Changmin AND Yunho both had detention together.

Changmin sighed. He walked to his seat and sat down in shame. He didn't say anything for the rest of class. Detention was going to be hell.
