Ow... God damn it!

Susie's eyes slowly opened as she let a groan escape her lips. She was laying down on a very hard and cold material; definitely not the supply closet's flooring, that was for sure.

Susie's eyes were staring up at a pitch black sky. She couldn't even see a moon or stars in sight! She pulled herself up to a sitting position and rubbed her face. "What the hell... Where...am I?" She muttered softly before pulling her hands away from her face to the ground to stand up.

Huh?

As she moved her hands to the ground, Susie noticed her skin colour was a little different than her usual skin tone. Actually.. a lot different! Instead of purple, her arms and claws were a shade of pink. Susie guessed her entire body was the same colour too. She also saw studded bracelets on each of her wrists and the reptile felt two more on her upper arms as well.

Was Kris and Susie doing drugs or something? Was she hallucinating and high on some shit? Did Susie die and was in purgatory? Her mind came up with many questions, but no answers.

...Am I on something?

Susie looked around to see her surroundings. There wasn't really much there except a rock cliff and the cold rocky ground she was sitting on. There were also this white fluff or dust piles scattered around the area. The reptile stood up and walked over to one of them. The sounds of her boots were echoing around the quiet area, and it honestly creeped her the hell out. It felt like she was the only monster around on this strange planet or area. She kneeled down and felt one of the piles and immediately concluded it was some kind of white dust.

Is that chalk? Or monster ashes maybe?

Susie thought as she pulled her hand away and stood up, shaking her head a bit.

Gross! I don't wanna think that I touched some dead grandma's ashes. Fuckin' disgusting!

She sighed a bit and an idea popped into her mind. Maybe her newly acquired phone would tell her something useful? Susie slipped her hands into the pockets of her pants and rummaged around to find her new cell phone. She found it and pulled it out, eagerly turning it on to check the time.

09:65

I don't think time is supposed to work that way...?

Coming to this strange place seemed to have messed up the time. Or maybe she really was high or dead or whatever Susie thought. She decided to try to text Noelle about it. Maybe Noelle would know something or at least able to break her out of this trippy state? Or y'know.. her ghost could try to at least lead Noelle to her ashes maybe?

Noelle was much smarter than Susie, anyways.

To: Noelle
From: Susie
Time: ???

Hey... Uh.. you won't believe what happened. I think I'm high? There's some weird ass portal to some weird ass place in the supply closet. Did you know about that? You're smarter than me, do you know what the hell I can do?

Susie read it over and sent the message to her new girlfriend.

Message not sent.

Susie growled out when she saw the notification appear on the screen. "Message not sent?! Bullcrap!" Susie, who didn't seem to see that she had no service tried to send the message again but got the same text.

Message not sent.

The teen huffed out in annoyance and decided to call Noelle this time. Even though they were dating now, they had never actually called each other on the phone before. They just texted one another about some dumb shit that Susie couldn't even remember. She dialled Noelle's number and the phone began to ring, but this loud noise interrupted it. It was loud buzzing and beeping, sort of like some alien was trying to communicate to her.

The key word being sort of.

Susie didn't believe in aliens and UFO's. Why should she believe in something that nobody has ever seen before? She guessed the abnormal noises from her phone was some kind of error connecting to Noelle's phone or something like that. Susie didn't know, she wasn't a scientist. The one thing she knew was that she almost went deaf and almost had a heart attack!

DARK

DARKER

YET DARKER

THE DARKNESS KEEPS GROWING

THE SHADOWS CUTTING DEEPER

At least nobody was nearby to see Susie jump a little bit. "What the hell was that?! That freaked the shit outta me!" She huffed, angrily shoving the phone back into her pocket.

THIS NEXT EXPERIMENT...

Welp... I guess I'll wander around to find a way out. It's not gonna help just standing around and being pissed about it...
Maybe I'll find Kris along the way? Susie thought to herself as she began to walk into the darkness.

SEEMS

VERY

VERY

INTERESTING.

Within a minute, Susie disappeared into the darkness with hopes to find her way out. She was beginning to get used to the loud echoing noice every time she walked, and eventually she stopped hearing it all together.
