3. Chapter 1 "Potential Friend"

SO! This is the first chapter of this Logyn fanfic! Yay! 

So this chap is about Loki meeting Sigyn a couple of days after was born. Since Loki is like a two-year-old, it won't be in his POV...yet :)

Nobody's POV

Asgard. The realm of Gods. It was a sight to behold to anyone who comes from the other outside realms. Asgards might and power was so strong and so powerful that no one could destroy them, though many have tried. It has a long and rich history filled with sorrow and glory which shaped itself into what it is now. 

In this realm, the people were ruled fairly by the King, Odin and his wife the Queen, by the name of Frigga. The subject had always remained loyal to their rules as they treated them with generosity and kindness. The King and Queen of Asgard were a force that could not be beaten and their love was something that could never be broken. Outside their kingdom, however, the King was known as a powerful and ruthless being with greed for victory and war...and win he did. He had brought up Asgard to be prosperous due to all the victories and riches he has cruelly taken.

One day the King and Queen decided to produce an heir to the throne so that when their time came, their son or daughter could take up the throne. The first child was a daughter by the name of Hela, and when she was born, the kingdom rejoiced. The kingdom was promised a good queen, who would be just as fair to their subjects as her mother and father as the future Queen. However, as she grew up, she had done no such things. She was titled the Goddess of Death as she brought chaos and carnage to the nine realms, her father by her side as they brought back riches and gold from every victory. Eventually, The Allfather Odin decided that what they were doing was wrong, that all this senseless blood and violence was not worth the lives of his subjects, and banished his own daughter to a realm of darkness, to be kept there until his last breath.

Now left without an heir to the throne, the King and Queen fell into despair, for they were getting older and could not produce any more children, even whilst Hela was still on Asgard. They had tried and their efforts still remained fruitless. However, they had just one stroke of luck. Frigga had the miracle of falling pregnant once more and produced a baby boy, the future King, whom they named Thor. This baby had grown little by little and was a gifted child. The rulers did not expect their sons to have the ability to manipulate lightning and thunder! At first, they couldn't get him to stop, the child not yet in control of his power and was still a mere infant, so, Odin found his son something to help stabilize his powers. His daughter old weapon. A hammer of the name of Mjolnir, that only anyone worthy of it could lift.

The kingdom rejoiced as they heard of Frigga's miracle. A year later and Odin was serving in a battle on Jotunhiem, the realm of the Frost Giants and Enemy to Asgard. They had a fierce battle and Asgard, once again, remained victorious. The soldiers did not return home to their husbands and wives with gold and riches, but their lives and loyalty to their King. However, the King had stumbled upon a small child, a runt amongst the others, smaller than the rest. The son of the Frost Giant King and an idea had struck the All-Father. Should he take the child, he could perhaps unite the realms and have an age of two kings who served as friends from separate realms, instead of enemies, so the King did just that. Odin took the child from his home and made him a new one under the name of Loki. Loki was a magic user as his adoptive father found ou when he first found him since he had seemed to change his appearance when Odin touched him and was set to be a powerful sorcerer.
