Since it was just lunch I didn't wanna dress really fancy so I wore a bodycon mustard dress and a pair of heels, I didn't need Liam towering over me.

I put on my wig , added a lil  moisturizer to my face to give it a little glow and I was good to go.

The driver Ricky arrives and we exchange pleasantries before finally taking off I was expecting us to go to a restaurant while I found my self at price industries.

" Is there something wrong? " I ask Ricky.

" Mr price called and said to bring you to his office instead".

I've never been to price industries the building was large and really busy, there were people constantly moving around from the looks of it they were probably hiring a lot of people with folders were everywhere. As soon as I entered, eyes were on me and whispers started.

I made my way to the front desk, the receptionist was a pretty girl with an Afro typing away at her computer.
" good afternoon," I said making her divert her attention towards me.

" good afternoon Ma'am, who are you here to see " she asks politely, I was impressed a lot of receptionist were quite bitchy and super grumpy.

" my husband Liam, Liam price " I stayed for clarifications there could be several Liam's in the building.

" Ohh sorry ma'am I don't keep up with tabloids that why I didn't recognize you, you're welcome you just have to enter the second elevator that's the CEO's elevator and make your way to the tenth floor ".

" thank you very much .... "

" Laila ma'am "

" Thank you Laila " I make my way to the directions she pointed out to me but rather than using Liam's elevator I decided to use the employee elevator. There were three people in the elevator when I entered two ladies and a man.

" she must probably be her for the new hr position " girl one whispers to girl two.

" wow, who wears an outfit that tacky to a job interview, probably trying to seduce the men into hiring her " girl two whispers back.

I had my ear pods in but nothing was playing on my phone while I listened to the two girls talk trash.

" she's not gonna get the job anyway she's not that pretty plus she's dressed in a way the CEO hates " the first girl says.

" yeah, I don't think anyone likes casual streetwear in the office " girl two replies while the man just keeps his mouth shut. I took out my ear pods and turned to face the two girls who were shocked.

" first of all listen to me and listen well dumb and dumber I know you think it's cute to be the office bitches but it ain't cute, if this bull shit works with girls that work here all the time well newsflash I don't work here and I'm not some timid little mouse like you're used to I bite I don't just bark  "
The girls hurriedly got off at the next stop without saying anything while the man just smiles at me.

" liked how you handled them " he says and gestures his hands towards me " Gerald ".

" thank you, I'm Kourtney " I replied shaking his hand.

" so what are you here for " he asks.

" my husband works here " I reply and he looks schooled.

" wow you look so  young didn't except you to be married " he says.

" Yeah I guess I am "

" who's the lucky man" he asks I'm about to reply when the elevator door opens and we're on the tenth floor.

" Liam " I reply.

" Which one of them. There's a lot of guys named Liam here, you'll be shocked Liam is a pretty common name " the middle-aged man says.

" Liam Price " I state and the man looks at me in disbelief.

" wow you're the new Mrs price " he says shocked " I've always known that boy has a great taste " he says.

" thank you " I reply politely. He directs me to the door to Liam's office and I thank him for it.

I see Asia as soon as I open the door and squeal with excitement "babe " I yell hugging her, I haven't seen her since the honeymoon it's obvious she missed me but being Asia and a Scorpio she needs to hide her emotions and act like she's not in love with me.

Liam steps out of his office most likely from the noise we were making and he sees me " wow I can't believe I'm being cheated on this early into my relationship ". He states.

" jealous much " Asia's says sticking out her tongue at his, I must be rubbing off on her.

" you're lucky she loves you and I can't fire you " Liam replies giving her the side-eye while I laugh at their unnecessary banter, I say my goodbyes to Asia as I step into Liam's office.

" if you were so busy why did you ask us to have lunch then " I ask as I see all the paperwork on his table.

" you look nice "he says taking in my appearance " you smell nice too " he says sniffing me while I smack him away from me.

" it's weird to smell people Liam " rolling my eyes at him.

" not when it's my cologne you're wearing " he says while ignore him taking my seat on the sofa.
