Monday:
What is she doing here...? My mother... Nick and Lila's mother... Our mother... She ran away... But, she's right there... I don't like this.
I bite my bottom lip as I try to decide whether or not to just for back to my bedroom and pretend as though she wasn't ever here, but I know I can't do that...
But that doesn't mean I have to talk to her... I mean, the last time I saw this woman, she was trying to get me to either kill my baby, or kick me out... And even though I did take the option of never going back to that home, it wasn't because she gave me the ultimatum..
Kimberly is still trying to make her leave, but Mom is too drunk to even listen... "I will not leaf!" I scrunch my nose up as I hear her slurring her words, and mixing them up. "I wanna see my daughter. Ya know. The sluuut!" I flinch and lower my head, wrapping my arms around my stomach, "She's not going to leave until she talks to me..." I take a deep breath, knowing I can not allow Nick and Lila to see her, and I walk down the stairs.
"Mom, what do you want?" I ask as I get to the second to last step. Mom and Kimberly both turn to look at me, Kimberly with a shocked expression, and Mom with a disgusted one. However ,she soon covers her disgust with a drunken smile, "Oh, baby girl! I just wanted to know it you wanted to come live with Mommy, again?"
I'm a bit taken aback, to say the least... I know there must be something to this offer of her's, but just hearing the offer at all warmed my heart a bit. But that warmth doesn't last long as I narrow my eyes slightly at her, "Can't, mother." I put my hand on my stomach, "I've got a baby growing in here, and I know how you don't want your friends thinking you've raised a slut." At this point, I'd completely forgotten that Kimberly was standing right there. It didn't even register to me that she was standing there with a shocked expression that mirrored my mother's.
My Mom shakes her head, clearing herself from her slightly shocked daze, then walks over to me with her eyes narrowed; it seems she also forgot that Kimberly was standing there. As she gets about six inches away from me, all of my confidence disappears and my eyebrows knit together as I start to tremble slightly, "You little bitch." She basically spits at me, making me flinch and take a step backward, though she quickly closes the distance between us, "I told you to kill that little leech inside you."
I nod as a I take shaky breaths, "I-I know, Mom... But... I c-couldn't bring myself... to do it..." She lets out a snort of disgust as she looks me up and down, "So that's it, eh? You're just going to let that little thing grow up inside you?" She smirks and snorts in amusement, "I bet it'll come out just as much of a disrespectful slut as you are!" I feel tears starting to pool up in my eyes as I shake my head a little bit, "Mom..." I breathe out.
She won't have any of it, though. She just raises her hand, and I close my eyes tightly, bracing myself for the painful impact on my face, but it doesn't come. The next thing I know, I'm opening my eyes to see Hunter, standing a couple inches taller than my Mom, holding her wrist tightly, her hand only about an inch away from my face. I start taking shaky deep breaths as Kimberly rushes around my mother and quickly wraps her arms around me, noticing something that even I hadn't; my knees were quaking to the point that I could hardly hold myself up, anymore.
I watch Mom try to pull her wrist from Hunter's grip, but he won't have it. He glares straight at her, and I can see his knuckles whitening because of how tightly he's holding her wrist, "Get out of this house. Now. And never talk to Harley, Nick, or Lila, ever again." as Hunter speaks through his teeth, anger just radiating off of him, I see Mom's eyes go wide in fear as she tries tugging away from him, "Y-Yeah! Okay!" Her fear seems to vanish as she turns her head to me; thanks a lot, alcohol... "It's not like I would ever want to see my dumb ass whore of a daughter again, anyway." Despite her words, I feel like there are still things left unsaid... Like there's something she's hiding.
