"So erin, what would you like to do?"

"Maybe you could show me around a bit? I'm not too familiar with the area." Erin said shyly, slight anxiety building up in her chest.

Shouto nodded in response, turning to the hallway as they made their way outside. His home was big, way bigger than he wished it was. "We can head into town, there's plenty to do there." He said monotonously, but she didn't mind.

Erin didn't respond, but went walking next to him. Both of the kids were usually more quiet, so neither of them were bothered by the silence. It wasn't awkward by any means.

Neither of them grew up around other kids. Sure, they went to school; Shouto had siblings. However, their parents always made them stay away from friends. Training was always more important than social life. Without even having to say it, both of them knew each other's parents exaggerating things. That was the normal life for kids born with known parents.

Erin fidgeted with her hands, since she didn't have pockets to shove her hands into. She wanted to make conversation, but didn't know really how.

"I noticed both of your eyes are the same colour. Have you found your soulmate already?" Shouto asked, seemingly reading her mind. She flinched at the sudden noise, turning her full attention to the bi-colour haired boy.

"Uhm, no I haven't. My parents make me wear coloured contacts so people wouldn't try to claim themselves as my soulmate." She responded quickly, and quietly.
"My other eye is actually red. Kind of like yours, actually." She smiled, slowly warming up to him.

Shouto nodded carefully, staring at the ground as he thought silently. "That's tough. I never thought about that, honestly. You're like me, but from a different country." He laughed gently, attempting to lighten the mood.

"Yeah, you'd be surprised. My parents plan on arranging a marriage for me, just like they were." Erin sighed, slight frustration clearly in her tone.

Shouto winced slightly, he knew the feeling. "My parents were also arranged. Well, it was a quirk marriage. No difference, though." He explained, his own frustration showing.
"I bet you didn't even have a say in working with my father."

"I don't even know what other agencies wanted to work with me." She breathed out, eyes dropping slightly. Since her parents weren't around, she didn't have to fully show no emotion.

Shouto formed his lips into a line, a mixture of relation and sympathy filling him. He knew the feeling, he was practically already working in his father's agency.
"Hey, I know it's weird-But do you wanna go to a place I practice a lot? We can practice together, since my dad will most likely make us do it anyways." He proposed genuinely. He did want to get closer with Erin, he just didn't know how.

She nodded almost instantly, a smile forming on her face. "That sounds good! We can get to know each other by starting with our shared interests." She grinned, her white teeth being exposed.

"No quirks, so it's a fair fight!" Shouto grinned, standing on the opposite side of the little ring they were in.

They went to a karate dojo, and were shown to a private room to practice in. They provided flexible pants for the two to put on. Shouto had removed his uncomfortable dress shirt. Erin took of hers as well, leaving her in her sports bra underneath.
