Jimin and Yoongi had considered one and other as biological brothers only days after meeting. It was for that reason that when Jimin had wanted to rectify the situation with Jungkook, he'd asked Yoongi to be there.
Perhaps he should've told his brother Jungkook's name but perhaps that would've made it worse. When the two saw one and other outside of the youngers' school every cliche romance movie was put to shame.
"Kook?"
"Yoongles..."
Jimin wanted to interject but what could he say? The look in their eyes; Jungkook never looked at him like that.
"You're back?" Jungkook whispered and... was he crying?
Yoongi just nodded, that was the first time Jimin saw Yoongi smile like that too. The gentle rain only complimented the scene, a bittersweet moment ruined by the broken third party.
When they remembered Jimin was there with them, their trance broke.
"Jimin, Jungkook is my boyfriend-"
"Ex." Jungkook corrected, he sounded bitter.
"You... loved each other?" Jimin asked, he wasn't sure if he wanted to know the answer though.
"So he told me," Yoongi joked.
Was he a coward? Definitely but Jimin couldn't stand and watch their love story unfold right in front of him any longer. So he did what he always did, he ran.
