Chapter 10

Rose's P.O.V

"Sara?" Elise said. Iris looked completely shocked. I just ran up to them and hugged them.

"You have no idea how much I've missed you," I said.

"Us too," Elise said releasing the hug. Elise had a camo bandana around her head and two marks of black and green on her cheeks. She had her hair in a braid like she used to do. She was wearing what looked to be a varsity jacket and ripped jeans. She had a weird skateboard.

"What is that?" I asked her.
"It's my ride and my weapon," She said holding it up. It had spikes around the rim except on two of the sides that had handles on it.

"The bottom is made of metal so it will hurt a lot if you get whacked with it." She said.

"That is awesome," I said. I looked over at Iris. She looked like a military leader. She had her hair up with her bangs on one side over her eye. She had a scar right over her eye. She was wearing a tank top and baggy green pants. She had another scar right over her arm.

"Woah," I said.
"What?" She said.

"Iris you look, so Badass," I said. She smiled. "You look good two". I just smiled happily.

"Are you done with the sentimental crap yet?" Jacob said.

"Oh my god, Shut the fuck up Jacob, no one wants to hear your bullshit, especially today. You seem in even worse of a bad mood than normal." I said.

"Yup, all that cursing, definitely Sara right there," Elise said.

"It's Rose now," I said.

"Really? Why?" Iris asked her arms crossed.

"Well new world new me" I responded.

"ROSE HOLD ON," Gene said from behind me.

"Hey, Freckles what's up? Oh hi, Dante" I said to them both.
"Um, I'm here to tell you I'm going with you tomorrow to pick up your stuff," He said.

"Thank you really didn't have to," I said blushing a little.

"I feel like I owe you," He said.

"So Dante told you?" I said referring to the photo album.

"Um no?" He said.

"Dante, you have to show him. Take it out of your satchel." I said.

"How did you know it was in here?" Dante said pulling it out of the bag.

"I'm observant and if I were you I wouldn't want it out of my sight as well," I said as he handed it to Gene. Gene opened it and I told him how I got it. He had a single tear in his eye. He gave it to Dante and hugged me. I returned the hug.

"You're amazing," He said. Which made my heart stop. I hate how he has that effect on me. All of a sudden some nerdy looking boy ran up to Gene.

"Um Gene, Laurence needs you." He said.

"Oh okay, I'll see you tonight at the meeting." He said running off. The boy sighed and looked behind him. He saw Iris and jumped.

"H-h-hh-hi Iri- I'm mean mam," he says to her. I smirk, I don't even know him but I totally ship him and Iris.

"Joel, you can call me Iris," She said smiling a little then realizing that she was smiling then when back to her tough look.

"O-okay, Iris," He said her name sweetly. "Um, I g-gotta go," He said running off.

"I have so many things I want to say," I said.

"Well too bad because I'm asking you first. What was that with Gene?" Elise said.

"And what were those marks on his neck?" said Iris. My face went completely red. Dante and Jacob started laughing again, rolling on the floor.

"Um, well I've helped him out a lot and well the marks, um" I started to get nervous again.

"There. Hickeys" Dante said between laughs. Then Elise joined Dante and Jacob on the floor. Iris stood her ground smirking.

"How did they get there S- Rose?" She said.

"Well, you see iwasdreamingaboutcinnomonrollsandgenesmellslikecinnomonrollsandwesharedabedandistartedbitinghisneckinmysleep," I said really fast, though they all heard me. Then Iris falls on floor two.

"Shut up," I said crossing my arms. Eventually, they calmed down and Dante gained a huge smile.

"You two wanna see something?" He said they nodded and Dante pulled out a picture. It was me and Gene cuddling. I started blushing.

"HOW DID YOU GET THAT??" I said freaking out.

"I have my ways..." He said.

"Now my turn, who was that guy? And why was he acting all jittery?" I said.

"That's Joel, Isis totally has a crush on him," Elise said smiling.

"I do not!" Iris said. I gave Elise the look.

"Bullshit," Me and Elise said in unison.
"Anyway, I'll be on my way see you around." Said Dante. I waved by and we talked for hours checking up on our lives until I had to go to that meeting thing.
