Chapter 12

(I just want to remind you that Jacob said "plus, he could be there" I changed it to a he, so those who read it before I just want to give you the heads up)

Gene's P.O.V

I woke up in Rose's bed, I started to freak out but then I remember what happened last night. I smiled and relaxed into Rose's hug. We cuddled for about 30 minutes then I heard a loud knock on the door.

"Rose, open up" I heard from the other side of the door, it sounded like Laurence I freaked out. Rose's eyes fluttered open and she yawned and went back to her position.

"Rose wake up, someone's at the door" I whispered so laurence wouldn't hear me.
"Five more minutes" she said sleepily.

"Rose" I said a little louder.

"What? What? Im up, i'm up ok" she said her eyes opening a little.

"Laurence is at the door and he cant see me in here, he'll get the wrong idea" I said. Her eyes shot open.

"Shit" she said. She jumped off of me. She started pacing. We heard another nock.

"Rose? Are you okay? Can I come in?" He said.

"Uhh yeah, Im fine, i just am not wearing a shirt so you have to wait." She said shrugging her shoulders at me.

"Okay I'll wait." He said.

Rose's P.O.V

I looked around the room, I had my own bathroom so I grabbed Gene and put him in the bathroom.

"Stay in there." I said and closed the door. I unlocked the door to my room and opened it.

"Hey Rose, I'm here to tell you that you need to be ready to go to pick up your things in 20 minutes, and I need to pick up your dirty laundry." He said entering the room. He picked up my clothes but I wasn't really paying attention to what he was grabbing only the bathroom door.

"Okay I'll see you soon." He said exiting with the clothes. I closed the door and sighed, I walked over to the bathroom door and opened it.

"He's gone, you better get going so you can get ready." I said and he nodded. "Hey um is this going to be a frequent thing? Not that I don't like you hear i just want to know" I said. I saw a tint of red on his cheeks.

"Um maybe...anyway I'll see you in 20 minutes" He said leaving the room. I sighed happily falling on the bed. I saw Jacob exit the coin.

"Thank god, that was too lovey dovey it was making me sick." He said.

"Oh shut up"

Time skip to 20 minutes

I was looking everywhere in my room for it.

"What are you looking for?" Jacob asked me.

"My hoodie" I said, I couldn't find it. "I'll ask if anyone has seen it when we get down there." I said grabbing my bag. I went to the meeting spot and saw Iris, Elise, and a few other people Gene didn't arrive yet, and Dante was there two.

"Dante what are you doing here, I refuse to let you go." I said. He rolled his eyes.

"I'm not, Gene wouldn't let me anyway, I'm just here to see you guys off. I nodded.

"Um has anyone seen my black hoodie?" I asked.
"Rose it's probably fine" Jacob said.

"Um the black one with the blue and green star on the bottom? I took that to the cleaners" Laurence said Gene walked into the room as he said this and I flipped.

"WHAT? Where?" I said stepping toward him.

"Rose... Calm do-" He started to say. I grabbed him by the shirt.

'Laurence where?" I said. He told me the location and I ran I yelled at the guy and grabbed my hoodie before he washed it. I walked up the stairs and held it close to me. I sighed.

"What was that?" Laurence said.

"Oh, oh I-im sorry, it's just really important to me." I said feeling embarrassed at how I acted.

"You mean who it belonged to" Dante said behind me.

"Shut up!" I said. I put the hoodie on.

"Anyway... Let me introduce you to the group, We have Joel, who you know, Iris, Elise, and Gene, again who you know-" He said.

"I know Iris and Elise to, they were my best friends before the world went to shit." I said cutting him off. He looked shocked.

"Small world, and lastly Alex.." He said, and alex walked in the front. I immediately recognized him, In elementary he bullied me and called me names.

"Come on not this asshole." I said frustrated. Iris laughed.

"Oh my god, I forgot you hated him." She said and Elise joined in.

"What did I do? I don't even know you" He said.

"Well you don't remember me, I didn't go by Rose DragonClaw when you knew me." I said I looked behind me and saw. Jacob have an angry look.

"Jacob are you okay?" I said.

"NO!" He said. All of the sudden, something came out of Alex's pocket. It looked like an angel. He had a weird toga looking outfit. He had a halo and wings. His hair was slicked neatly to the side and he had rosy cheeks.

"Its you..." The angel said sadly.

"And it's YOU" He said.

"Wait you know each other?" I said.

"Yes he was my partner, and he basically kicked me out. He thinks he's so perfect when he's just as fucked up as the rest of us. He treated me like shit!" He said. The angel had a said look on his face.

"I'm so-" He tried to say.

"NO! You do not get to speak! I will never forgive you, I had to get out of the business of shoulder devil because of YOU!"
