Hey guys this is my first One Direction fanfic! :) I don't know exactly when I will finish this story, or how long it'll be, but I already know how most of the story will go! Chapter One

"Boys, I have some... interesting news for you," Simon stated. He cleared his throat, as his eyes fell on the five boys in front of him, lingering a moment longer on the small, blond, blue eyed one. "Management has been working with a secret group for the past two years in order to find the... perfect match for each of you."

All at once, the boys gasped and began to protest, but silenced as Simon held up his hand.

"We do, however, believe that, for the time being, one of you must stay single. Now, considering the fact that Liam has Danielle, Louis has Eleanor, and Zayn, you have Perrie, that leaves only Niall and Harry." He turned to the blond boy and the curly-haired one with a frown.

"We see it best that Harry remain single." All of the boys looks at Niall, their eyes wide with sympathy. He tried so desperately tp protest, but no words would escape his lips. He swallowed the lump in his throat and looked around at everyone.

"I don't have a choice?" He asked, his voice shaking. Simon shook his head sadly. Niall nodded, his eyes wide. "OK... When... When do I get to... ya know, meet them? You know, the girls?"

"We're setting up a day next week. Feel free to bring the boys. They should approve of her too." Niall nodded, his body feeling numb. "You boys can go now." Niall was the first out of the room. He ran down the white halls and out the glass door. His feet hit the pavement as he ran.

Why me? he thought. He ran until he could hardly feel his legs. Finally, he reached a park and sat on one of the benches, sighing with sadness. He felt tears run down his cheeks. He didn't even get to decide when he wanted to date someone. Not anymore. He closed his eyes, and laid back, trying to relax himself.

The thing he didn't understand, was why they had chose Harry to stay single.

Was he not as good as Harry? Did he not deserve to be with someone he wanted to be with? Was it because Harry was the ladies man of the group? Was it because, maybe they thought Niall was not as attractive as Harry?

Why? Why? Why?

Why wasn't I as beautiful as Harry? he thought sadly.

I know its short guys!! I'm sorry!! I just needed to write this first to get it out of the way! :) I also need to know if anyone would actually read this?
