Perfect- One Direction
Savin' me-Nickleback
The vinyl store was rustic and classy. It was the store I visited the most. Even the old man who ran the store knew me by name.
"Hello Ms. Hunter." He said cheerfully.
"Hi Mr. Murray." I smiled brightly at him.
"I have the Nirvana Vinyl right over here." He said stumbling over to the reserved stack. His legs were very fragile and stiff so he moved them as if his pants were starched heavily. His back was hunched and you could see the gray hairs in his jet black hair.
He handed the vinyl to me with shaky hands. He smiled at me before moving on to help the boys.
I went ahead and purchased the Vinyl on the register. I used to work here 3 days of the week so I knew how to work the ancient register.
"This place is so...cool and old. It literally smells like the 80s." Harry said stepping on the customer side of the counter.
I grin, "How would you know what the 80s smell like?" I say.
"My grandma still uses the hairspray." He says and I laugh.
"Really?" I couldn't stop laughing.
"Yeah her hairs' like tin. Could knock someone out." It was plain funny cuz I knew exactly what he was referring to.
"So why does this place not have up to date cash registers?" He said as I fiddled with the buttons.
"Because it has Character." I successfully completed the transaction and stuck my tongue out at him like a child.
He mimicked me and I laugh as we walk side by side to Louis asking a question to Mr. Murray and Zayn looking at the Classic Vinyl shelf. Niall was looking at the movies Mr. Murray has collected.
"...yes we have a few of those vinyls left over from the last rave." He chuckled shuffling towards another vinyl shelf.
I offered to help but he shooed me away, "I'm not that old yet!" He protests and I laugh.
"What did you ask for Lou?" Harry asks.
"A Grease vinyl of the songs." He said excitedly. Harry shook his head as I laughed.
Soon we were out of there heading towards a shoe shop. I wanted some new ankle boots.
After purchasing a new pair of shoes I sat down waiting patiently as the boys argued which pair of shoes were more masculine.
"This is the most masculine I've been in 5 years." Harry said admiring these god awful Chelsea boots. I rolled my eyes smiling.
Niall came and sat beside me. I haven't talked to him since last night.
"Hey." I said scooting over to give him room.
"Hi." He obliges and take the seat.
"You ok?" He looked a little pale.
"I'm fine. Are you ok?" He asks with an eyebrow raised high. I laughed at the expression and nod.
We chatted and laughed at Harry and Louis fighting over shoes, Zayn making funny side comments here and there.
I finally had to stand up to get the blood flowing but loose my balance and tumble onto the nearby wall. I laugh along with Niall and Zayn who watched me stumble.
I stand up and felt oddly exposed. I gasped and turned around. I look down my shirt and see my strap broke. I panicked. What am I going to do.
My eyes were looking everywhere until they landed in Victoria Secret across the hall. I sigh. And drag a hand, I don't know who's, to the store with me. I don't like being alone in a store that....revealing.
