Breakfast at Tiffany's- Deep Blue Something
"Hey." I exclaim. Niall picked me up in his truck.
"Hi, you look great." Niall said a so hopped into the truck. I rolled my eyes. I was wearing a white NIN shirt with leggings and flats. My hair was done up in a donut bun with loose tendrils framing my face.
I had gone with light makeup. Concealer, nude eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, mascara, and lipstick. It was simple and I felt refreshed.
"Oh stop. You don't look half bad yourself Horan." I wink.
"Ha thanks." He laughed. He was wearing jeans and a white button up shirt. He really did look hot. But Harry had this thing- Stop! Do not think about Harry right now.
I mean Niall and I were dating now...right? He said if he wanted to go out with me.... so that constitutes dating right? Or did he just mean 'hey wanna go out for food tomorrow?' I mentally pick at my brain to see what we were. At times like these I hated overthinking. It took my energy.
"And we are here." We pulled into the IHOP parking lot and we walked in getting seated immediately.
One of the things Niall and I shared was food. We loved food.
"So what are you getting?" I ask Niall.
"Mm I don't know. It all looks so good." I agree.
"Maybe I'll get pancakes, toast, bacon, egg, sausage, and a large coffee." He says. It's a lot of food but with Niall this is probably a snack.
"Hm I'm going to get...the cinnamon roll pancakes." I say. My mouth watering at the picture.
"That's it?" Niall asked.
"Well I have training today so I can't eat a lot or-" I made a retching sound.
"Training? For what?" Niall asked giving me his undivided attention.
"Volleyball. We have to either go to group training days or we get a list and a parent/guardian has to sign off them stating we actually did the workout." I explain.
"Yeah my girl is a sexy, strong volleyball player." He beams.
I rolled my eyes, "I'm not even that good. I barely made it on the team."
He air quoted me and I jokingly punched him in the shoulder.
"Can I take your order?" The waitress said. She started giving Niall flirty glances and he remained oblivious. Oh hell nah. If I'm Niall's girl than he is my man.
"I would like a glass of orange juice and my boyfriend would like a large coffee." I smile sweetly. She glared at me and I gave her a look saying, 'bitch I can get you fired faster than you winking at my man'I know I sound like them over protective clingy ass girlfriends but I ain't about that cheating life.
When she left Niall chuckled, "boyfriend huh?" And I drained of color.
"I mean unless you don't want to- I was just saying that to- I mean- she shouldn't have-."
"I'm messing with you." He cut me off by laughing his contagious laugh. And that is how we became official.
****
"I can't believe the Niall Horan couldn't finish his food." I said for the hundredth time as we walk back to his truck.
"I had a very filling dinner last night." He defended.
"Oh save it Horan. Admit it, you ordered to much food." I joked.
"Oh stop before I climb across this console and bring out the magic fingers." He raised an eyebrow and I laughed knowing I'm not ticklish. Shhhh. Don't tell anyone I am.
