Natasha and Bucky were staring straight at Tony with looks that could kill. The other Avengers stared the Stark down until Tony snapped. "You can help, y'know!"

The Avengers started to shuffle around in embarrassment, except Natasha and Bucky who continued to glare on. Tony sighed before he started typing on his computer again. FRIDAY brought up possible locations as to where Peter could be, and the Avengers took them all down. They took down a lot of HYDRA bases and agents, but their was no sign of Peter.

After seeing Natasha and Bucky interrogate HYDRA agents, most of the other Avengers avoided the assassins. In that time, the only people Bucky and Natasha had to talk to was each other. They started talking about them and what was best for Peter. At the moment, it was just small crushes on each other, but all it took to start a bonfire was a spark.

The other Avengers finally saw the impact Peter had in that very short time he was there. Peter, after peeling back HYDRA layers, was just a sarcastic goofball who was so innocent and pure that Clint didn't even care if Peter had almost killed him. The Avengers realized Peter made them more than a team, Peter made them a family. A dysfunctional one, but a family nonetheless.

Peter, wherever he was, just wanted to die. That's right, Peter was so broken that he wished, even pleaded, with death to take him. But mercy or luck was not with the teen, because he woke up each morning, or what he thought was morning, to torture and pain.

HYDRA had no mercy when it came to their little test subject. They didn't see his red blistering skin or care when he whimpered. The doctors talked to each other like Peter was an item. They even started wearing the raven masks doctors from the Black Plague wore to make Peter believe death was there.

It never was.

SHIELD was working hard as well to find Peter, but only because he was at HYDRA. The only person who knew Peter personally was Nick Fury, who actually smiled because of Peter. Nick let SHIELD try to find Peter, making them believe it was to find HYDRA.

"Stark! It's been three weeks. Where is my son?!" Natasha said slamming her hands onto the metal table Tony was working on. Tony took a sip of his coffee before throwing it in a trash can.

"I'm working hard, Romanoff," Tony said typing again and talking to FRIDAY. Natasha stood there until she felt someone take her hand. Natasha looked up to see Bucky. Bucky squeezed her hand before kissing her on the forehead, "We will find him."

"FRIDAY, save that to the Winter Widow file, and tell Clint he owes Steve 20 dollars," Tony smiled softly ruining the moment. Bucky smiled at the comment as Natasha let her questioning face look at Tony.

"You bet on-" Natasha started but FRIDAY cut her off saying that they found Peter and Fury gave them permission to go take down the base. Natasha started to finish her statement, "I don't Nick's permission to do this."

"Suit up!" Tony said calling on the suit. The three heroes went into the hallway and met up with the others who were just as eager to find Peter.

"Give the prisoner chemical 3o6," The head scientist said to one of her assistants. Peter looked up slightly at the mention, but he only snarled.

"But, ma'am! It's untested!" The assistant argued as if she didn't value her life. No one argued or disrespected the head scientist. Dr. Maka was one of the leaders of HYDRA.

Dr. Maka snarled at the insolent adult. "Go get the chemical and inject him with it!"

The assistant scurried off to get the chemical, and Dr. Maka turned towards Peter. "After this, the only words you'll say is 'Hail HYDRA'."

"I have a lot better things I want my finally words to be than 'Hail HYDRA'," Peter quipped back. Even if he was the prisoner he didn't care that death could be moments away.

"It's funny to think that you once wanted exactly that to be your finally words," Dr. Maka replied with a smirk. The assistant returned and put the black venom in Peter who screamed.

"Where is he?" Natasha said over the comms as she slammed a staff in a HYDRA agent's back. Natasha pushed the pole to the ground and swung on it, kicking a few agents down.

"No sign of him," Tony replied back and Natasha heard the faint sounds of repulsers in the background. Natasha sighed as she took down more agents.

Then a loud bang was heard from the end of the hall. Natasha watched as a figure emerged from the smoke standing on some extra legs. Natasha saw the red glowing eyes and immediately backed up. But as the figure came out of the smoke, Natasha realized it was Peter, who had a crazy smile on his face as his new spider legs stepped towards Natasha.
