Chapter 06 | His to be wife

Shivaay was yet again busy with his business that he completely forgot he was getting married in a short period. His priorities had always been business from the day he finished college. He himself didn't know the reason for such a change in him for once he cared about relations but not then.

Shivaay started back to Oberoi mansion after getting a call from his grandmother. He was really worried hearing his grandmother's tone over the phone. Reaching, he saw the whole mansion in pitch darkness. Panicking, he started calling for his grandmother when all the lights were instantly turned on at once.

"Bhai!" someone shouted from behind him that he almost freaked out.
"Sid" exclaimed Shivaay in shock. Very much irritated with his cousin brother, he continued "Yaar Sid, you have gone mad. You literally gave me a heart attack!"
"I know I have given a khidkithod entry! Don't discourage me." Sid said winking at him making Shivaay completely lose in his thoughts.

"Anu!" called out Shivaay literally frustrated as he didn't find her even in the sports room. From morning, he searched the entire college for her but couldn't find her. It was his birthday and his girlfriend was nowhere to be seen which irritated him a lot.

The sports room wasn't really pleasant according to him. It was dark around that he hit his toe against an old cricket bat lying on the floor. He winced in pain cursing the bat and sat down on a chair controlling his pain. But the chair crashed to ground and he fell down, it was a broken chair much to his bad luck. He managed to get up and decided to get out of the room. He walked towards the door when he felt a strong pull from behind. This time he fell on the person he wanted the most at that moment. She was grinning at him while he lost all his anger on finding her.

"Anika! I have been searching for you..." he couldn't continue when she hugged him whispering in his ears, "Happy birthday darling!"
"Thank you Anu. I thought you forgot!" he said reciprocating her hug.
"How can I ever forget this date? That's when god sent my cute angelic boyfriend down to earth." She said tightening her grip on him while he smiled at her statement. Soon, Shivaay cut the cake which Anika made specially for him while she sang his favorite song for him, "Baar Baar Din Yah Aaye, Baar Baar Dil Yah Gaaye."

He fed her and the next moment, she took some cream from the cake and applied it on his face completely.

"Fhat the wuck!" Shivaay hollered much shocked by her unexpected act when she asked chuckling, "How was my surprise? Khidkithod na!?"
"What thod?" Shivaay asked widening his eyes in disbelief when she laughed, "Khidkithod!"
"I should pile up all your words into a dictionary and refer it for my future purpose." he said not realizing he meant their future together.

"Sid what's with your language!" Shivaay asked back in irritation as he remembered someone whom he didn't want to remember at all.
"You have to anyway get used to this language!" Sid said winking when Shivaay didn't understand him.
"Arrey bhai, you are marrying my Anu! So of course you have to keep hearing words from her bindaas dictionary." he said. Shivaay's precious orbs literally came out of his socket hearing his cousin's rambling. Before he could clear his misunderstanding, Dadi joined them.

"Shivaay, Sid hasn't changed at all. It's been six years since he came to India. That time also he was a kid and now also he's a kid." Dadi complained when Sid side hugging her said, "Nani I'm always a kid for you!"

etting a call, dadi answered it with much happiness, "Dear, I hope you found the address. Just pass in, the security won't stop you as I already informed them." she said and cut the call in minutes.

"Who was on the phone Dadi?!" Shivaay asked out of suspicion when Sid answered his question, "Must be your to be wife!"
"Duffer why will my to be wife need to find my address?!" Shivaay asked glaring at him.
"Yes yes his to be wife only!" Dadi joked and laughed at them as she continued "You both will get to know who she is very soon. So don't fight like kids now and get back to your works!" saying she left from there bewildering Shivaay by that she statement of hers.

Shivaay's cousin, his aunt Vrindha's son. Sid is a carefree soul taking nothing seriously in life. Vrindha, Dadi's only daughter lives in the U.S. She sent Sid to India just to make him responsible like her nephew, Shivaay.

Shivaay after losing his parents at the age of ten had always been responsible. He took his Oberoi empire and managed it well enough to make it number one in business. Dadi was his family and his world.

It was half an hour since Dadi made that statement. Shivaay stayed back in the mansion cancelling one of his important meetings just to know who was coming to meet his grandmother. He didn't know why he was so curious about a random girl, maybe because of Dadi's words "His to be wife only!". Dadi cracked a joke but little did she know Shivaay felt so curious because of her statement.

He came out of his room just to see if the person Dadi was talking about reached there or not. His eyes scanned the whole mansion and found a girl standing facing her back to him, maybe she was speaking over the phone or something. As his curiosity increased to see her, he took baby steps to approach her. He stopped himself the next moment thinking to himself, "Fhat the wuck am I doing! What's wrong with me?! Why the hell am I behaving like a teenager?!"

Composing himself to be a typical businessman he took out his phone just to dial in to his personal assistant. He was conversing over the phone, his eyes roaming here and there not failing to steal a glance at the girl. He just finished his call when he looked up to see the girl again. Just at that moment she turned to face Shivaay locking her eyes with him instantly.
