The pelican got back to base and everyone stopped when seeing the blue team, they were the best of the best and now they were back together.

Fredric chuckled "I couldn't get used to this."
John stepped off first "I can and did."
Fredric laughed "ok hero."

Kelly stepped off and told John "relax John, Fredric was only joking?"
John nodded "yeh, sorry Fredric.. just I've usually had cortana after every mission."
Kelly walked faster and beside master chief, she grabbed his hand as they walked.
He was confused so he explained "well now we got you."
Linda and Fredric nodded then Linda confidently said "lead the way captain."

They walked

The other teams looked in their direction

Buck chuckled "looks like the alpha team is back?"

Captain Larson chuckled "about time and yeh, we got a few."
He went to get the files when Kelly stepped up to John and told him "we are in this together, john didn't understand but he could feel Kelly's warmth like emotionally.

They flopped a bunch of files on the desk, pick one your interest in?"
Master chief shook his head but grabbed them all, Kelly key out a sigh. She could tell John was secretly suffering.... John loved cortana...but kelly loved John...
