The last thing people heard was Nefrum's evil laugh He had become the God of destruction. Nefrum went back to his forge in the sky and made more weapons, each he gave magical powers and a name. The last of humankind went into hiding. Knowing that their God would kill them if he ever saw them they thought of ways to destroy him. One man suggested to use Nefrum's weapons against him, and everyone agreed. They then started planning on how to kill their evil God...

After a good night sleep, Eli woke up to his new surroundings. His room was very spacious, and decorated with gold. . .everything. When his eyes adjusted to the light he noticed a well dressed man standing beside him. Eli jumped from shocked and
fell off the bed. The man rushed over to him asking if he was ok. Eli quickly got up and asked who the man was.

"I am your servant Sir. Are you all right? That was a hard fall."

"Yeah, I'm fine." He paused for a moment, looking around his new room. Gold outlined the walls and white roses were everywhere. The wall in front of the bed had a mirror hanging from it, and to the left was a window. Outside the sun shined over Lorod. He could see people walking around the town square. Merchants are selling their good as well. It was a beautiful day.

"I'm sorry Sir, but the other knights are waiting for your arrival."

Eli looked at the servant, "For what?"

"They want to meet you and discuss some things" Eli nods and quickly gets dressed. Until he realized that they aren't his clothes. "I'm sorry Sir." The servant spoke up, "But I changed your clothes so you look more presentable."

Eli stuttered, "T-thank you. Can you show me where this meeting is taking place?" The servant nods and guides him to the destination.

The servant took him to the entrance of the room. He stopped in front of the door for what seemed like an eternity. His heart pounded harder and harder as each second passed, thinking about what might happen. Then he took a deep breath, opened the door and walked in. Inside was a large round stained glass table, with four other people sitting. Most of the walls had windows and bright colors. The four figures looked at Eli with gleaming eyes as he got a closer look at them.

The biggest one was a brute, he was mostly torso and muscle. It didn't help that he was wearing his armor, which had the crest of a dragon head with silver and red colors. His face was something girls would adore. Shiny blue eyes, cheeks that could possibly stab someone if he tried, and a chin that looked like it was a brick. The woman beside him was a little bit taller than him. She wore revealing clothing that show most of her more feminine features. He couldn't see a crest on her clothes. Her skin was darker than most, probably she was from Vraral Eli thought. And her short hair with red outlines and piercing green eyes was another giveaway she was Vraralian. The third person was also a woman. She looked about the same age as Eli. Her long blond hair and shining amethyst eyes enticed him. She wore a white and light blue dress with a crest of a swan. The last person was the shortest of them all. He wore all black and covered his face. He couldn't see his eyes or a crest anywhere on him.

"Well if it isn't the boy we have been dying to talk to." the brute said, "Come sit and we'll introduce ourselves. Eli slowly walked up to the table and sat down. He noticed that somehow Vine was wrapped around his waist, he didn't remember when he put it there. He quietly adjusted it as he listened.

"My name is Maximilian Milith, Knight of Sodar, but you can call me Max. This attractive lady is Krystian Villac." Krysian gave Eli a smirk, "Right next to her is the beautiful Isobelle Weave."

Isobelle blushed a little and softly spoke, "H-hello there. . .I have heard much about you."

Maximilian continues, "And last is Victor Stagmate-." Everyone looked at the chair where he was sitting but he already left without a trace. ". . .Right, I forgot he doesn't like people looking at him. Anyway enough about us, tell us about you." The three knights look at Eli with excitement.

Eli started to shake a little, "T-there isn't much to talk about. I was a blacksmith and now I'm a knight."

Krystian spoke up, "Yes darling but how did you obtain Vine?"

"Well General Callum-," He stopped himself, "I'm sorry, Callum kidnapped me and my sister so he could have the rapier for himself, but it wouldn't let him take it. Only me"

Max shouted, "Callum that scum! If he didn't save me in the war I would have chopped his head off by now."

Eli tilted his head, "War?"

"Yes the Kridel-Caada War. It all started about some stupid dispute about who owned some islands, in the end we won but now we can't even find anything useful on them. We all lost some good men and friends during that war."

"I see, I'm sorry about your losses."

Isobelle finally spoke up as well, "Do not be sorry, sacrifices are always made for a good cause."

Max nodded, "Anyways as you are blacksmith we will train you not only in swordfighting, but also how to use your weapons abilities. And after that we will teach you how to be a good general."

"General?"

"Yes all knights in Kridel are also generals. You will get your own unit that you will lead, as well in council meetings with us and the King. Well, no time like the present, let's start your training."

Eli jaw widened in shock, "N-now?!"

"Of course now." Eli then felt a presence behind him, but before he could do anything Vine used its power to push the attacker away from him. Max then pulled out his greatsword and slashed at him. Eli them unsheathed Vine and parried the attack.

"After all, the best moment to train is when your surprised."
