Dammit why did I have to leave my purse in his car?

"Give me my purse." I demanded, walking towards the passenger door and outstretching my arm to the window.

"You'll have to come get it." Daniel dropped the purse on his lap, giving me a frustrated look which made me growl through gritted teeth.

"Just give me the damn purse, now!" I screamed out into the quiet night.

He looked overly annoyed, his patience worn thin with me, but I couldn't give a crap less. I had a negative two right now where patience were involved.

"I'm not telling you again, Dawn. Get. In. The. Car." He demanded slowly, causing wrath to bubble within me.

How dare he look and speak to me that way! I wasn't a child and I didn't belong to him. I didn't need that purse. So what if all my cards were in there, I could report them stolen.

"I'm not a fucking child!" I screamed even louder. "If I want to walk home, I can walk! I don't need your say! So why don't you just take that purse and shove it up your ass!"

I turned and began speed walking so quickly down the sidewalk, I was nearly running. The pain in my feet and exhaustion were completely forgotten in my fit of rage. I was more pissed at myself than him, bathing in self loathing. I just needed my bed to end this crappy day.

My jaw was clenched as I gripped my heels in my right hand, stomping ahead while I heard the quiet engine purring beside me on the road. Why doesn't he just go away?!

"Dawn!" He called, "Look, I'm sorry-" The vein in the side of my neck jutted out in rage as he trailed, his voice sounding defeated. I didn't want to hear it. My entire body stiffened and the grip I held on my shoes were hurting.

"I'm sorry." He repeated, "I shouldn't have come onto you like that, it wasn't right. I wasn't entrapping you or playing games. I didn't realize how drunk you were until-"

Before I knew it, a war cry sounded from me when my shoes were sent flying at his car, one entering the open window while the other bounced off of the passenger door.

"Look here, you son of a bitch! Leave. Me. Alone! I don't want your piss poor excuse of an apology or anything else from you! Just go away!" I growled out in a raging huff, turning and walking rapidly away once again.

But there he was, still trailing beside me in that stupid nice car of his. He just doesn't quit does he?

What was with these men? None of them could ever take a hint, a very big hint at that.

"Good thing you have bad aim." He chuckled, "you had me worried there for a moment."

He wasn't going to give up anytime soon, and the anger within me was slowly dwindling down as my exhaustion began to take over.

I stopped, closing my eyes and letting out a loud whoosh of air before turning to face him.

"If you take me home, will you leave me the hell alone?"

"Yeah, sure." His lips lifted into a beautiful smile as he leaned over and pushed the passenger door open.

Wasn't he just annoyed? I lifted an eyebrow skeptically as I slowly climbed inside, folding my arms over my chest as he leaned over the top of me and closed the door back into place.

I couldn't believe I hadn't noticed his cologne before, it was just as enticing as those ribbed abs or his sculpted arms. Ugh, why was I checking him out again?

I closed my eyes, pinching the bridge of my nose as he shifted back into his seat.

I sighed as I strapped my belt in, telling him my address and praying this would be the quickest ride ever. I couldn't be this close to him. My face was on fire at the memory of what had happened just minutes before in his back seat. How easily he had made me fall apart and my body to beg for him.
