Y/N'S POV
"N-nothing happened. I don't know why she was smirking but I blushed not because we both said the same thing but because I-i remembered that I have a date in a few days" I lied to her
I can't let her know that I almost kissed her sister
"Oh. W-with who?" she asks me
"Michelle are you okay? You look sad" I say instead of answering her question
"It's nothing now please answer my question" she says
She's looking at the ground and is clutching at her bag like her life depends on it
What's happening?
"P-please tell me who you are going on a date with" she repeats after a few seconds
"It-it's a guy from one of my classes. I can't tell you it's name because we both agreed to not tell anyone of our friends the other one name until the day after the date. In this way, his words not mine, "we can avoid the case that some friends of mine know you or vice versa so if our date goes in the wrong way we can avoid the fact that they will not leave us alone until we tell them off" I said (I don't know if I wrote this part well. Please forgive me 😂)
Fuck, that's a terrible lie. She'll never believe it
She looks at me like I've grown a second head but then looks at me with a smile
"Okay, I hope your date goes well so I can meet this guy" she says hugging me
"Now let's go to class, I don't want to be late" she adds after
When she turns around I let out I sigh of relief
Luckily she believed that lie and didn't question me any further
(A few hours later)
My last class ended five minutes ago and now I'm at my locker waiting for the others
Ten minutes later I see Lauren coming towards me
"Hey, tell your mom you're not coming back home until tonight" she says when she's in front of me
"Why?" I ask
"Because you're coming with me to my house to start "practing" for this fake girlfriend thing and since nor my parents nor Michelle are going to be home we can do it without having the worry of them seeing us" she replies
Lauren and I home alone? This is not going to end well
"Ok I'll call her now"
"Great, let's go to the car" she says taking my hand
"Please stop doing that, you are making my heart beat like crazy. Damn you Lauren Jauregui for being so beautiful and for making me feel something for you" I think
This is going to be a long afternoon
