Chapter 7

*A few weeks later*

Y/N'S POV

It's been a few weeks since that little misunderstanding Lauren and I had with Michelle

Now we all are in good terms but I'm still sad about the fact that Lauren said our kiss was just for scene and that it didn't mean nothing for her

The things between me and Lauren have been slightly awkward ever since our kiss

Everytime I ask her why she's acting strange around me she always says that it's nothing and to forget about it

Well...let's hope things will get better but one thing is sure, I need to talk with Lauren

(At school)

I'm at my locker talking with Ally and Normani about music stuff when we see Lauren, Michelle and Dinah coming towards us

Before anyone can say something I grab Lauren's hand and enter the nearest janitor's closet

I close the door and look at her

"We need to talk" I say

"About what?"

"About your strange behavior and that you're trying to avoid me at all costs" I reply

"I'm not acting strange and I'm not trying to avoid you. You're just imagining things"

"Okay Lauren. You don't wanna talk to me? That's fine. But don't come looking for me when you need a favour, go search another best friend" I say without looking at her

I put my hand on the door knob but before I can open it Lauren turns me around and presses her lips into mine

I stay still for a few seconds, shocked about her action

Is this really happening?

When I regain control of my body I put my arms around her neck and I kiss her back, pulling her body against mine

She pushes my back against the door and I gasp when I come in contact with the wooden door

We make out until we ran out of breath

After we pull away we look into eachothers eyes and she smiles at me

"That's the reason"

"What?" I ask

"The reason why I tried to avoid you it's because I knew that if I would stay too much close to you this would happen" she replies

"I like you Y/n, a lot" she continues

"A-are you serious?"

"Yes I'm serious. I like you so much baby girl" she says before kissing me again

I kiss her back but I pull away a few seconds later

"What?"

"I like you too Lo" I say smiling

She smiles too before pulling me into a tight hug
