Chapter 8

Y/N'S POV

We exit the janitor's closet and go straight to class since we're late

We sit at our desks and take out our books

As I start taking notes Lauren grabs my right hand and intertwines our fingers

I blush and look at her smiling

She kisses my cheek and after that we start following the lesson

(In the afternoon)

I'm at home doing homework when I hear the doorbell ring

I get up from the couch and go open the door

I'm a bit surprised when I see Lauren outside my house

"What are you doing here Lo?"

"I'm here to talk" she says

"Well...come in then"

I don't know what she wants to talk about but it seems important

"What do you want to talk about?" I ask

"About our kiss"

"Oh, d-did you regret it?" I say looking down at the floor

"No no I didn't regret it baby girl" she says smiling

"I actually wanted to discuss about us, what are we?"

Did I hear it right? She wants us to be something?

"I-I don't know, w-what do you want us to be?"

"Well..." she starts saying meanwhile pulling me towards her by my waist

"...I want you to be my girlfriend" she continues before kissing me on the lips

I put my arms around her neck, deepening the kiss

After a few minutes of making out we pull away from each other

"So...Y/n Y/l/n, do you want to be my girlfriend?" she asks me

"Yes, I want to be your girlfriend" I reply to her

(Two weeks later)

This past two weeks have honestly been the best of my entire life

Lauren treats me like a princess and makes sure that I'm always happy and feel loved

I couldn't ask for anything better

During this two weeks Lauren and I also decided to tell our parents about our relationship

We don't want to hide anything from them and we hope that they'll understand and let us be together

"So...when do you want to tell them babe?" Lauren asks me, hugging me from behind

"What about tonight? It's our usual get together dinner so I think it's the right moment" I answer

"Perfect, I can't wait to tell them that you are mine" she says before kissing me

(That night)

We just finished eating

I look at Lauren and she smiles and nods, letting me know that she's ready to tell them

"Uhm...Y/n and I need to tell you something. Can you all sit on the couch?"

Once everyone is seated Lauren starts talking

"So...everyone here knows that Y/n and I have known each other since we were kids right?" Lauren asks

I see them nod

"Well, almost a month ago I asked her a favour that brought us much closer than we already were and it made us realize something" she continues

"What did you guys realize?" my mom asks

"That we like each other" we said at the same time

"Mom, dad, Clara, Mike, Michelle...Lauren and I are in a relationship" I say taking her hand

"We hope you understand" Lauren continues
