This book is important. I genuinely urge you all to add this to your library and READ it, take time to understand it and don't jump straight to judge the protagonist because like Simone says, you are not perfect and neither is she.
I respect this book so much simply because of the fact that it opens your eyes to a rape culture, toxic and abusive relationships and most importantly it opens your eyes to a situation that happens more often than you'd ever want to imagine. It depicts how hard and how much of a toll abusive relationships take on people and how easily people may brush a situation like this off.
This book truly gave me chills and man, there's nothing more I can say that'll do justice to it so please, read it.
