Percy was sitting at the table waiting to be called. He heard a name he recognized. Grace Jason! The sorting hat yelled. Jason walked up. When he was about 10 feet away from the hat the sorting hat screamed how did you survive. Getting abandoned by your parents losing your sister losing your memory the sorting hat wailed. Gryffindor Gryffindor! Jason turned pale staring at the floor walked over to sit in his house. Calypso called the sorting hat. Nervously Calypso walked up. Gryffindor the hat called. McLean,Piper the sorting hat called. When Piper was ten feet away(again)the sorting hat started sobbing. How could you be faked like that! How could your dad be held captive and you be forced to betray your friends. Gryffindor! Next it called Valdez,Leo and for a second Leo caught on fire then walked up. Again ten feet away it screamed how could you live with that! Your mother died in a fire and your aunt blamed and disowned you! Gryffindor! Next it yelled levesque,Haze(did I spell that right?) Hazel walked up and a Ruby popped up in front of her. Ten feet away the hat screamed. How could you lose your mom?!?!? How could you be bullied and lose the only person who truley cared for you! Gryffindor! Next it called Zhang,Frank. Frank walked up. Ten feet away the hat screamed. How could you have no friends at camp Jupiter?!?!?? Gryffindor! Next it called Chase,Annabeth. Annabeth walked up and te hat screamed. How did you survive that place?!?!? How could the fates do that?!?!?!? Gryffindor. Suddenly Annabeths legs wobbled. She looked paler then ever. Tartus she muttered and she collapsed sobbing. Percy ran to her. He picked her up and cradled her like a little toddler. He put his forehead to hers. I love you he whispered. It's okay. We're okay. We're together. Annabeths eyes opened and embarrassed she walked over to the Gryffindor table. Percy walked up and the hat wailed. Gryffindor. He has been through more then the chosen one himself! Everyone's mouths dropped in shock. Percy looked at the floor embarrassed walking over. When they got back Harry walked up to Percy. Hi he said sheepishly. It sounds like you guys have been through a lot. A tear trickled down Annabeths face but suddenly it rolled back up. Don't cry Annie. Percy turned back embarrassed and Percy mouthed to Annabeth something. She glared at him. You have to be more careful next time she snapped. Harry walked away confused.
