I wake up to the sound of the door being banged on. I stand up confused and just as I am about to open the door, Bradly, Ethan, and Tanner all come down the stairs.

"Who is it?" Bradly asks tired.

I shrug and pick up Tanner in my arms. I open the door and found a lady in a black dress with a binder.

"Hi, I'm from Foster Care Social Homes, I'm a social worker.. is this Tanner Hills?" She looked at me and then Tanner.

"Yes, this is he," I look at her.

"He's going to have to come with me," She says.

"What?! No!" I pull him into the house and gave him to Ethan. "Go upstairs with Tanner. Tanner go upstairs with E, okay? You guys are gonna watch something," I look at Ethan and then Tanner. Ethan gives me a confused look. I mouth: I'll explain later.

Then I look at Bradly. "They want to take him," I said.

"No!" Bradly says going to the door.

"Yes, legally, you two are not his guardians. After your moms passing, his legal guardian is..." she looked in her binder. "Blake Amari," She looks at us.

"Our dad?!" Bradly and I yell at the same time.

"I'm guessing," she shrugs.

"Can we fight against him? Bring this to court or something?" I ask.

"I saw this coming. But of course, the trial will be done on Tuesday," she says.

"What?! That's in two days," I said.

"I know. In the mean time, Tanner's going to have to come with me," She says.

Bradly and I look at each other. I nod, and he does too, agreeing.

"Could you just give us one minute?" Bradly asks.

"Yes of course," she walks back to her car.

I walk upstairs where Ethan and Tanner were.

"Hey Tanner. Bradly and I are going to need to talk to you," I said coming into the room. He nods and Ethan turns off the tablet they were currently watching on. Bradly and I sat at the edge of the bed.

"So buddy, you're going away for a little. Not because you're in trouble, it's because we're having a little trouble right now okay? It's only going to be for two days," Bradly explains.

"We promise, you'll be back home before you know it," I said.

Tanner nods. I know that he doesn't understand. He holds up his pinky fingers, both of them. Bradly and I laugh at his small gesture.  We both take his either or his pinky into ours, making a pinky promise.

I sigh and take Tanner into my arms. I walk downstairs and just as I had made it to the last step, Gray, James, and Emma walk in.

"Why's-" Grayson starts.

"I'll explain later," I said, knowing what he was going to ask.

I walk out of the door and set Tanner down next to me. We walked to the front of the driveway where the lady was standing next to her car. She opens the door and Tanner climbs in the back seat.

"You'll be okay bud," Bradly smiled.

I couldn't help but cry. I knew this was somehow my fault, and I couldn't change it.

"I love you Bea," Tanner says.

"I love you more buddy," I smile and feel Bradly's arm wrap around my shoulder.
