I Need To Protect Them

Chapter 1-BackStory

"My name is Peter Morningstar, I've always been alone even though I have a family and I love them with all my heart they can't know what I can truly do. They didn't need to know, it would only cause them so much trouble if they knew about all my gifts and the curse that I was blessed to live with.

From a young age I knew what I could do because I was blessed with the knowledge of the Arcane Magical Arts being engraved within my head. Knowing what I could do was always scary and I could never afford to hurt those whom I loved dearly, they didn't need that, so I chose to hide it from them instead, that's all I could do at that moment in time. I have many ancient spells that have been lost for thousands of years engraved within my brain because I was blessed with the gift of creating essence. Essence is the magical ability that is only given to one person every few thousand years, and it's been nothing but a curse for me. This ability allows me to access infinite amounts of power that I can tap into at any moment, making me one of the most powerful witches in this millennium and because of this I had to hide it from everyone in order not to be found out by the government as all they would do is use me for their military power and might to be increased and I didn't want to help them destroy other people's life's, countries and homes.

Everyone in the world knows about the supernatural creatures that used to be hidden but have now been brought into the light. The races
- werewolf's, fairies, witches, vampires, elf's, pixies, along with many others including sub-species.- we're fed up with hiding and thought it was time to come out into the world. That was over 500 years ago now and the world has developed to the point where everyone has been accepted into the normal human culture. This also means that there is schools for supernatural creatures to be able to learn how to use their gifts and better benefit the economy. That means I would be attending one of these high schools, more specifically one of the largest in the State Breakview Supernatural High. This meant that pretty much every kind of creature attends here making it an extremely diverse and dangerous place.

Before attending high school I had to make sure that all my powers were hidden underneath ancient seals on my skin that I had placed on myself, because I was desperate just to be an average witch or even less than that. I was fine with being perceived as a "weak" witch, but that didn't last very long as one person had already figured me out as soon as I entered the high school and that was my principal Lana Evergrave, one of the more powerful witches within our state. The ancient seals I had placed on my body were meant to be invisible to everyone, but apparently not her because she possesses an ancient ability as well -The all seeing eyes- that was what helped her figure me out. This meant I had to show her what I was capable of and this was definitely terrifying to finally show someone what powers I've kept hidden for my entire life.

-Later That Day after School had finished-

After the seals that kept my aura and powers under wraps were finally released within the magic training fields at my school. She, once seeing my aura couldn't contain her emotions and almost made her sick. After awhile once I activated the seals again she was then finally able to compose herself mentally and emotionally to tell me what I already knew -To hide them-

We had then later made an agreement that I would keep my powers hidden to keep people from finding out what I could actually do and that I could only use them when absolutely necessary and when she allowed me to use them with her permission.

My Mates I soon found after I had entered the school I had already known that they were within the same area as me and would be attending the same high school as well. So I chose to place a mating seal on myself so that they don't know I'm their mate, this spell hides my scent, aura and presence from them, practically making me an invisible nobody. I also made sure that I had a spell in place to make sure that I would be alerted if any of them ever came face to face with danger, by me doing that it resulted in them having a small mark in the shape of star placed on their lower back. That's all I could do for them, I couldn't actually intervene with them since if I did, the mating spells effects could be lessened and them not knowing who I'am is better for everyone. Especially them. They don't need me in their lives, I would only make things harder for them and they didn't need that. This was all I could do from a distance and I hate it, it pains me so much to not be able to be with them. I cry myself to sleep most nights thinking about them, but I can't risk them getting hurt because of me.

Luke Nagara- Alphablonde hair, blueish green eyes, tan/sun kissed skin, tall 6.4
David Forshe -betadirty blonde/light brown hair, emerald green eyes, tan skinned, tall 6.3
Nathaniel Darketch- beta dark brown hair, hazel/amber eyes, fairly tanned complexion darker than Luke and David. Tall 6.3
Lycancie Reeves-beta blonde hair, blue eyes, pale/tan complexion, tall 6.2
Lucien Reeves-beta twin of Lycancie, blonde hair, green eyes, tanner than his brother, tall 6.1
All characters listed above are Peters mates and are also quite muscular and have good physiques. All are werewolf's.

Lana Evergrave-witch dark brown/almost black hair, eyes are greenish turquoise with hints of lavender in them, olive skin, tall 5.8
Peter Morningstar-witch blue-green and yellow eyes, pale with sun kissed areas with a slight tan and freckles, not thin but also not robust, has a curvy figure- similar to an hour glass figure. Longish- Dark brown hair with curls.
