I Need To Protect Them

Will you be by my side?

-Continuing from last chapter-

-Peter's POV-
"I can't believe I've finally showed them who I'am, they now know the truth, so I ask them after I've showed them everything. -Will you be my mates?- I've finally asked them what I've wanted to know for years."

"They all turn to look at each other and I see them all slowly turn back to me and I can see they've made a decision, " Peter- they all say at once, we would like to stay by your side always and forever, until our time on this earth is over."

"Once they said that I looked to each of them and I collapsed to my knees, I can't believe they actually want me as their mate? Me? I've wanted this moment to happen for so long, I was so scared they'd just take one look at me and reject me, but I guess I judged them wrong. I already love them so much, by the time I had realised I was already on the ground clutching the soil in my hands, crying my eyes out, they'd surrounded me and hugged me all at once, all saying that they'll love me no matter what. I just can't believe it? They love me? This day is one of best moments of my life, I can finally be with them, I can finally love them and not have to stay away watching them from a distance. I couldn't be happier!

-Luke's POV-
"Will you be my mates? Asked Peter, as I look to each of my friends, I ask them through the pack link, so we can have a unified decision. What do you guys want to do? I've already made my decision, I want to be his mate and stay by his side, they contemplate for a second and then all say the same thing. We turn back and look at our mate, they all say at once, Peter- we would like to stay by your side always and forever, until our time on this earth is over. It takes a second for it to sink into Peter what we've just told him and he just drops to his knees, starting to cry, so as soon as we see this happen. We want to reassure him that we are meaning what we've said, so we all hug him. "This feeling of being so close to him is heavenly,I can't wait to really start to know him and spend my life with him."

-Peter's POV-
After some time of them all hugging me, I start to calm down and my tears start to dry, leaving my eyes quite red. They all slowly release me from their arms, being so close to them is everything I've ever wanted,
It's all I need. We all slowly stand again and once we are all on our feet, Principal Evergrave then speaks up, saying how she knew that everything would work out and that she never doubted for a second that they would accept me, she then advises us to all head home before it gets too late as it's Thursday night and we have school tomorrow. As we all start to head out of school, with me in the middle of the group with Luke and David on either side of me and the others beside them, this feels so much better than walking home all alone, Luke then offers to drive me home, which is only 10 mins by car and 45 mins walking back, while in the car it's pretty quiet until he decides to break the silence by asking about my parents, so I tell him that my Parents -Mum ( Scarlet Morningstar) and Dad (Phoenix Morningstar)- are both Military Government officials and quite high ranked as well, which is one of the many reasons as to why haven't I been able to tell them what I can do.

Luke is just patiently listening and then adds his opinion on the matter, saying: "I think they'd protect you from the government though, I highly doubt they would let you get taken. They love you." I add:  "I guess so, but I think I'll let everything else sink in for awhile before I tell them", Luke nods agreeing. As we pull up to my driveway, he looks to me and says that he will pick me up tomorrow morning, "okay thank you" I tell him, he is still looking at me when he decides to hug me and say "I'm glad I finally know who you are, I can't wait to get to know you better". " I'm happy that you know who I am now and have accepted me as your mate, I couldn't have asked for anything better" I say while hugging him back, "okay I'll see you tomorrow Luke, thanks for the ride".

As I walk through the door of my home I close it then slowly slide down the door in disbelief of everything that's happened today, I can't believe it! They've all actually accepted me as their mates! I'm so happy beyond belief. Today has been one of the best days of my life, they accepted me so quickly and without hesitation, it feels absolutely amazing for them to finally know who I'am.

My dad and mum aren't at home they had to leave early this morning, They've been called on a assignment from the military organisation that they work for (black swallow military corps), they work within the magic division, Both my parents are extremely high ranking in their division they're Generals so they aren't at home very often, they only came back because of the birthday celebrations that were held for my mates. It's important that they maintain close relations with the pack, well every race really.

I start to head back up to my room and get changed out of my clothes and then I'll make something for dinner, pasta maybe? Yeah that sounds good.

After I've finished dinner I head up to bed and quickly fall asleep, I can't wait for school tomorrow. I wonder if they'll want to do something on the weekend? Hopefully they do, it'll be a good chance to properly hang out with all of them and get to know them, they'll be able to learn more about me as well. I hope they don't think I'm boring?

-David's POV-
As we all finally start to arrive back at our house Luke, Nathaniel, Lucien, Lycancie and myself all live in the same house now, it's a pack tradition once members of the pack turn 18. It helps with the transition after we finish high school and once we all find our mates. Everyone has their own rooms as well, because we were all close enough to be brothers everyone thought that it would be easier for all of us to live together rather than be separated, plus we all share the same mate which makes it even better that we all live together.

We all head inside except for Luke he's still dropping off Peter, I wonder if they talked much? I hope so, I want us all to be able to get to know Peter. I can't wait to finally be with him, we all can't wait.

After Luke dropped Peter off at his house, we are all sitting in the lounge room at our new place, Luke told us what they talked about. I can't wait for tomorrow, I can't wait to see him. 

We all start to discuss what we want to do for the weekend and we all came to the same conclusion, we want to do something with Peter, like go out for dinner and then a movie. Everyone agrees, we will speak to Peter tomorrow about and see if he wants to come with us, I hope he does.

We all start to head to our rooms and get some sleep for tomorrow, it'll be an amazing day tomorrow I'm sure of it.
