Lilac's pov
I had one of the best nights sleep I've ever had last night. It was so strange. Everything felt right, like all the pieces of the puzzle were put together. Well... almost. There was one piece missing but I don't know what it was.
I got up in the morning and started to get ready for the day. James promised to take me on a little tour of the place so I won't get lost. Knowing me I probably will but that's besides the point. I put on a pair of some cute light brown shorts and a oversized grey and white stripped sweater.
James and I met in the kitchen for breakfast. I didn't expect to see such a large amount of food! I filled my plate up with pancakes and scrambled eggs, with some apple juice to go down with it. I was still waiting for James by the time I had finished eating. I was about to call him when he finally showed up.
"What took you so long?" I asked him when he got to me.
"I just had to deal with a small situation, don't worry about it. Here let me show you around already" he excitedly rushed out.

"This place is huge! How many people live here?" I ask. "Around 350, we take in a lot of people that need a home and we are a giant family" James explained.
"Wow". We were walking around the garden and the back of the giant main house now. I love the outside and their backyard is amazing. So full of life and flowers. I could stay out here for days.
"What's down there?" I asked James as I point to a small cabin out in the distance.
" oh that's a house. A guy named Matthew lives out there"
"Oh isn't he lonely out there?"
"I'm sure he is but he's happy in his cabin"
Mmmm Matthew, why is that name so familiar? Oh! I remember Matthew, he was the cute handsome guy that let me in.

It was the afternoon by the time we got back. I was in the kitchen making myself a sandwich when I heard the back door open. In walked Matt. He looked amazing, covered in sweat and no shirt. I could tell he had just been working out.
When he walked into the kitchen we made eye contact and he stopped.
"Um hi there Matt, you look hungry here I just made this but I think you may need it more" I say to him while handing him the sandwich. He hesitantly took it with a small nod of appreciation.
As I was about to leave I thought I'd give him a little compliment, after all he did look good.
"Matt, have you been working out? Because your chest looks amazing, well done".
All I heard after that was a low deep growl of approval as I walked away from the kitchen.
