An Hour Later
Tiana's POV:I opened my eyes to see the ceiling.
I tried screaming, but duct tape is covering my mouth. I couldn't get the tape off of my mouth, because my hands are tied. I took an attempt to untie my hands, which was a success.
I removed the duct tape from my mouth.
When I got up, I felt my pockets and found my phone.
I quickly took it out.
"Who to call, who to call," I thought as I rapidly scrolled down my contacts list.
I decided to give Justin a call. I pressed the phone symbol.
While it was dialing, I tried opening the door, but it was locked.
I rolled my eyes.
"Hello?" I heard.
"Hey Justin, it's Tiana," I said.
"Tiana! Hey, where'd you go?" Justin asked. "You left to take a phone call and never came back."
"After the phone call, I was on my way back to the classroom when someone got a hold of me and knocked me out with a cloth," I replied.
"I think David kidnapped me again. He must've been the one who called me and knocked me out. Right now, I'm held hostage at a house. I hope you and everyone else found help."
"We haven't because you're lying," Justin replied.
"Uh, what makes you think that?" I asked.
"About an hour ago, Darren came to school and told everyone that you lied about David kidnapping you," He replied.
"Justin, I'm not lying," I said. "Here, I'll send you some evidence."
I took a picture of myself in the room and sent it to Justin.
"Now, do you believe me?"
"I'm not looking at your evidence because David did not kidnap you," He replied.
"You know what, I'll ask someone else for help. It looks like you don't want anything to do with this," I said.
"Well, have fun with that," Justin said and hung up.
A groan escapes from my mouth as I look through my contacts, trying to find someone else to call.
I found Marc's contact information, but I decided to click the FaceTime symbol next to his name.
If I show him the room through FaceTime, then he'll believe me. The FaceTime call finally connected, and I can see Marc.
"Hey, Tiana," He greeted.
"Marc, I'm so glad you answered! I need your help," I said.
"Okay, but first, I invited you, Nathan, Darren, and Justin to my house," Marc said. "We're going to play FIFA, and then NBA 2K."
"Marc, I can't go,"
"Why? I know you're not good at NBA 2K, but you're amazing at FIFA,"
"I can't because David kidnapped me,"
Marc sighed.
"Darren told our friends that you said that. He also said not to believe you, and he's right," He said.
"You and I both know that David would never do that to you."
"But he did! Listen, David's the one who probably called me at school and knocked me out," I explained.
