Chapter 22

Monday, January 5th, 2015
East Cafeteria
Diana's POV:

My friends and I are hanging out at the east cafeteria. We're back in school after a fantastic winter break.

It was our first Christmas without our parents, so we celebrated it at Nicky and Tiana's beautiful home.

On Christmas night, my friends and I spoke to our parents via FaceTime.

We found out that they're coming back to London soon!

I miss my parents so much. I can't wait to see them.

Anyways, today's the day we seniors are going to vote for this year's Student Council President and Vice President, and everyone's excited.

I'm voting for Tiana and Courtney, which is not a surprise.

Most of the LHS students forgot about the secrets Jamie and Gianna revealed about my friends and me during the SCPESD, but we still face the occasional backlash.

I've been called so many names on social media, that I had to disable my Instagram comments and mute my Twitter threads.

"Winter break was so lit," Darren mentions.

"My favorite moment was that snowball fight we had in Nicky and Tiana's backyard, and Nicky threw that snowball at Marc so hard, that it knocked him to the ground," Nathan said.

"That's my favorite moment too, Nathan," Marc said.

"One of my favorite football players, throwing a snowball at my face. Now, how beautiful is that?"

Everyone started laughing.

All of a sudden, Jamie and Gianna walked up to us.

"Oh god," I groaned.

"Here we go," Justin mumbles.

"Gi, what am I looking at?" Jamie asked, looking at Tiana and Courtney.

"Well, one's a horrible singer while the other is in love with her kidnapper," Gianna replied and laughed.

Jamie laughed as well. My friends and I rolled our eyes.

"Court, what am I looking at?" Tiana asked, standing up.

"Well, Tiana, it's two girls who want to be us," Courtney replied, standing up as well.

Jamie and Gianna started laughing.

"Please, we don't want to be you," Jamie said.

"Well, you will when Johnson and Anderson announce Tiana and me as the winners of this year's Student Council President and Vice President," Courtney argued.

"No way," Jamie said. "Gianna and I's speech won the audience. Who would want LHS in your hands?"

Tiana gave Jamie and Gianna a weird look until she realized something.

"What Ramirez? Cat got your tongue?" Gianna joked. "You know Jamie's right! Admit it."

"Wait a minute, Jamie and Gianna are suspended!" Tiana exclaimed. "Anderson! Johnson! You got some trespassers on school property!"

Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Anderson looked at my friends, Jamie, Gianna, and me. A lot of students stopped their conversations and looked at us as well.

"Jamie and Gianna, leave now, or else I'll get security," Mrs. Johnson commanded, as she and Mr. Anderson approached the two girls.

Everyone tried not to laugh as Jamie and Gianna begged Mrs. Johnson to let them stay.

"I guess we'll have to call security," Mr. Anderson said, taking out his walkie-talkie.
