Maracanã Stadium
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Ashton's POV:It's the World Cup final; this year's finalists are Germany and Argentina. My friends and I are sitting in the VIP section.
I looked down to see Marc on his knees. I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Marc, what are you doing?" I asked.
"I'm praying, duh!" He replied. "It's the World Cup final, either do or die."
"Okay, point given," I replied, laughing.
Marc nodded his head and resumed his prayer. I looked over and saw Michael and Luke talking.
"So, are you guys excited to see Argentina lose?" I asked them.
"In your dreams, Ashton," Michael responded.
"Yeah, right," Luke said and rolled his eyes.
The three of us started laughing.
Finally, both teams arrived on the pitch.
The entire stadium erupted into cheers. The German national anthem was played shortly after the Argentinian national anthem.
After the players went to their sides, captains Bastian Schweinsteiger and Lionel Messi shook hands.
Bastian won the coin toss, meaning Germany will kick off with the ball.
Thomas Müller and Miroslav Klose are standing at the starting line with the ball.
The ref blows his whistle, and the game is underway.
"Germany! Germany!" I cheered.
"Argentina! Argentina!" Michael cheered ten times louder.
"Oh my god, Mikey," I said and laughed.
"What'd you expect— RUN MESSI! GO, GO, GO!" He yelled.
Messi easily ran through Germany's midfield and defense. He took the shot, but Manuel Neuer blocked it for a corner.
"Ha, you thought," I teased, looking at Michael.
"Whatever, at least we have a corner, though," He stated.
"Good job, Messi! Yeah!" Marc shouted.
"You can win this, Germany!" I cheered.

Extra Time
Liane's POV:Wow, this World Cup final has been super close. Both Germany and Argentina had an equal amount of shots, corners, and fouls.
Right now, the second half of extra time is still going on.
Man, I feel sorry for these players. Some play for 90 minutes, and they don't get subbed off.
Also, it's hot here in Brazil.
Germany decided to make a substitution right now. Mario Götze will be subbed in, while Miroslav Klose will be subbed off.
As Klose began to leave the pitch, the German and some Argentine fans gave him a standing ovation.
"What's with the standing ovation?" I asked my friend.
"It's Klose's last World Cup. He's retiring from international football after this," Tiana replied.
I nodded.
Mario Götze got on the pitch and immediately got to work, pressing the Argentine defense.
All of a sudden, André Schürrle steals the ball from Sergio Agüero. Everyone's on the edge of their seats as Schürrle passes the ball to Götze.
