I heard the annoying beeping of my alarm clock. I reached over my night stand to shut it up and went back to sleep lying on my stomach.
Moments later, I heard someone come in my door. I heard footsteps then I felt a heavy weight on my back. Based on the smell, I exactly knew who it was.
"Wakey wakey Cole-y woley."
I grunted in reply.
"Come on! We'll be late for school." Alex whined.
"Says the guy who always skips class to screw chicks." I said in my groggy voice.
"Even if you just get up to brush your teeth because your morning breath isn't my favorite smell." He said in disgust.
I opened the drawer in my night stand looking for my breath spray. I sprayed it three times in my mouth and went back to sleep.
"Cole can you stop being a lazy ass and get up? If you don't I'll kiss you. On. The. Lips." He threatened.
"I would like to see you try." I said groggily looking at him with my eyes closed. Get the picture?
"One."
Nah, he ain't gonna do it.
"Two. Last chance Cole."
I snuggled closer to my pillow.
"Three." I felt myself being flipped on my back. Which made me open my eyes. Alex was straddling me and he held both my wrist with one hand, his other hand supporting his upper part and he started leaning closer.
"Okay, okay! I'm up! Get off me you pig!" I said pushing him off as he laughed. He kissed my nose and got up, freeing me from his whale-like weight.
Alex and I have been friends for 3 years now. We're like siblings. My brother, Ryan trusted Alex to take care of me while he was off in college.
He made Alex promised to protect me like his own sister and Alex willingly swore.
"My work here is done. If you need me I'll be chilling with Dylan."
Once he left, I grabbed my ripped skinny jeans, a nirvana shirt and some undies and laid it on the bed. Not bothering to lock the door because I trusted Alex too much.
I took a long hot bath and jammed out to my shower playlist.
I dried my hands to unplug my phone from my speakers and effortlessly threw my phone to my bed, because I'm good at taking care of my stuff, and dried myself.
I got in my clothes and sat in front of the mirror to blow dry my hair.
I grabbed my red vans, penny board, backpack and went downstairs.
"Good morning to my wonderful parents!" I shouted as I went in the dining room. My mom was cooking waffles and it smelt good, really good.
"Morning! What syrup?" My mom asked.
"Uh, Chocolate? Don't forget the whipped cream and put a little butter."
"Anything else, Milady?" My mom asked in a horrible British accent, which made me laugh.
"No kind sir, thank you." I replied curtsying.
"I'm a girl idiot!" She said jokingly, slapping my arm. I shook my head laughing as I prepared my Hot Cocoa.
"Alex?" I asked.
"Dylan." Dad replied.
"Ah."
"Order up!" My mom shouted placing my waffles on the counter. I sat on the stool.
"Hey Alex." My dad said.
